Course Curriculum Overview
College architecture is awesome the green gardens and the gurudwara in campus. The course structure is also good and comprehensive. They placed many students in amazon,wipro,icici prudentials. They should improve outdated environment, staff behavior
Placement Experience
They provide placement in last year of course. The students visited the Reliance stores, amazon, icici prudentials etc. , Highest package given is 7 lac per annum and average is 5 lac per annum. 80% Students got placements each year. My plans is to pursue my llb degree in khalsa college of law amritsar after completing bcom degree and part time job
Fees and Financial Aid
This college is very affordable gor any reserved category. The fees is affordable. College education quality is also on top and professors are well studies and major of done phd. The building of the college is awesome. So this college fulfilled my dream because of affordable fees structure
Campus Life
The cultural and festivals held each month according to departments like TECH FEST in October, COMM FEST in feb, nagar kirtan in NOVEMBER, YOUTH FEST in april. Book fair also held and many more. The large variety of books are available in library of college. The sports fay are held in march month and the small matches of any games held if students willing to play. Yes students run many groups in my college like the rotary club, commerce society etc
Admission
I didn't applied for any other college. I only want wanted to study here because this is my dream college. It's architecture is too much attractive. I didn't get any rejection from other college because i only applied here at khalsa college amritsar. The admission process is to admit students on merit basis . Minimum percentage is 40% in 12th class. It takes 2 hours at my admission process.
Faculty
The student faculty ratio is about 60:1 . I liked the faculty of punjabi department because they teach life lesson more and are friendly in nature. As my opinion there is some administrative officer are little rude . There are 7 exams in my 1st year . If students study there is no chance to failing the exam.
Interview Experience
No, In our college there is not group discussion, interview or any written test. Admission is based on 12th percentage. You'll need 45% for getting admission in Khalsa College Amritsar. In Khalsa College Amritsar the written test and counseling is only done for agriculture courses admission
Night Life
Yes gym is available for the students who are living in college hostels. Cafeteria is closed at 4pm .library also closed at 4 pm . Girl cannot go outside of hostel between 9pm to 6 am and boys are allowed to go anywhere. The cafeteria food court is best place to hangout and there are many parks and malls near college.
