A honest review of my college

My college is good. The only problem is that there is management quota if you are rich you can get a seat in my college. I think that should be changed because deserving students may not get admission because of this.

Since my course is in the medical field. Our field is quite tough and needs to study a lot throughout the year. So in Faculty of physiotherapy, we will have continuous assessment test for every 1.5 months and we have this exam 5 times a year. This is not only a theory exam but we practicals and viva for every exams throughout the year.

As a medical college. There is a build-in hospital so there will be more patients. The student can do their internship in our college. If there are many students the college will provide them internship in some other good hospital. Since I am a second-year student I didn't go to an internship.

My college is in Chennai so there will be students from the whole country. They have their own religion and cultures. We celebrate every festival like Pongal, Ayudha Pooja, Christmas, Ramzan and many more. There will be also much cultural like singing and dancing event for both students and faculty.

I am studying a bachelor of physiotherapy, which is a medical course. My fee structure is Rs.85,000 per year as tution fees. For transportation, the fees are Rs.32,000 per year. For Books, it cost around Rs 2500. My white Apron or coat, it cost around 1000. For getting a Registration number we have to pay RS 3500. There will be also an Examination fee of RS 4000.

There will be no scholarship provided by the college. We should have to get from outer sources like I am a Muslim I can get the scholarship from the mosque or fundings provided by the person from the mosque. Education loans can get from a Bank based on your marks and college. I didn't get any education loan or scholarship.

My campus life is quite good and normal as it is a medical college everybody will be busy studying and doing something useful. There will silence everywhere because there will also be some patients going around. And the gender ratio, of course, girls will be more than boys because it is a medical college. In my class, there will be 40 girls and 15 boys. There will be sports and competitions. Also, there will be a medical conference which will be very useful for students.

Seniors are quite helpful in our college. They support us in many problems and they are like good friends. They help to get notes and help in sports as well.

Any student can get admission by management quota and the student has to get a minimum of 60% in 12th board exams and has a subject in biology, chemistry and physics. I also got admission by management quota and had 80% in 12th boards. Since my college is under Dr MGR University we can get admission both in the University and also the ACS medical college and hospital. They both are separate campus.

Our college is quite big in infrastructure because it has a hospital with separate out-patient and in-patient block and has a separate building for MBBS and a separate building for faculty of physiotherapy, and a separate building for Allied health sciences. And a big ground after entering college.
