- The things I disliked about the college is it's attendance criteria. You cannot give internals if attendance is below 75 percent
- College has a uniform policy which according to me is a red flag
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum at ABES Engineering College is well-structured but leans heavily on theory, lacking real-world applications, especially in coding. Students suggest updates to match industry trends and include more hands-on learning. Exams occur every one or two months internally and once a year externally, with a manageable difficulty level. The schedule allows enough time for preparation.
Internships Opportunities
The college mainly focuses on internships in 3rd year or from 5th semester. Before that they do not focus on that. But a student can individually apply to intership from themselves. But if applied for intership during placement drives , he'll not be eligible for placement. The college will not allow him to sit in placement drives at the time . As for projects , from 2nd year , each year they have to make a project , that will be included in their domain training, subjects and last for the final year project
Placement Experience
Many number of companies come to this college. And the mass recruiter takes 200-250 student each year for their company. The only thing that is to be kept in ming is eligibility of the student in placements. If the student is eligible and applied for the placement, he will definitely get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly we pay amount 1.35 lpa. And in 1st year we paid 9k for uniform (one time only). Other than that we par around 8k each semester for university examination (fees) plus extra if any carry over is there.
Campus Life
Annual and technical fests happen in this college every year. But otherwise it's less as compared to other colleges. Our college mainly focuses on education rather than fun and entertainment. But yes we do have many clubs in our college. And all the clubs have their compitition, exhibition, etc...
Admission
I applied for this college because it was near to my house. As a day scholer, one should keep this in mind that how long he or she has to go if he chooses the wrong college . Another thing is , this is the best engg. College in ghaziabad as compared to other colleges in all aspects.
Faculty
All the faculty are really helpful. And all the teacher's provide the student with resources , prior to the classes for their own self study purpose .exams are conducted regularly. 3 internal exams will occur each sem with practicals
Night Life
I am not a hostel student, so I won't be able to give accurate information on the night life of our college but according to my college friends from hostel they have to get inside the hostel at a particular time. Maybe it's 7 pm. After that no one will be allowed and they will call your parents for that.
