Remarks

Everything is positive about college. We should need to know more about college and people to enjoy the life of VIT. this is the place to learn where we can learn as much as we can. It's a kind of new world where there is more to explore. And not enough time to explore everything.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is fine. I felt that the two courses are similar. Environmental genetics and cytogenetics are the two courses that seem similar and in core subjects. But it's good and we learned much about this.

Internships Opportunities

No. Not for my course. Actually, I have specialization in my course and we were doing our genetic counseling in another college during summer months so we didn't seek for internship by that time. It's two and a half month course.

Placement Experience

3

There is no job opportunity for this course on campus. For all other departments has placement. And only my department guys still seeking for job individually. Everyone is disappointed with this thing.

College Events

3.5

Annual sports meet, Pongal celebration, new year celebrations, DJ parties, club activities, Rivera. Rivera is the best program ever. It used to happen like a festival. It used to happen for 4 days. We used to enjoy a lot

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is feasible. No other college has this low for this course with such good exposure. It is worth giving and spending on such a nice course. As this course is rare. It is fine to spend on it. And I like this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

One of my friend who is studying in the department of multimedia. He is from a middle-class family. Somehow he joined with his merit mark. After paying the whole fee he applied for the scholarship. He got 1/3 of the money back and it was very helpful for him.

Campus Life

5

Extracurricular activities are good. And about the labs are really fabulous. And especially my research lab is the biomedical Genetics lab where I used to spend most of my time. And learn about things. Where it seems busy all the time even it festive time

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No, I am a day scholar. I am not staying in a hostel so I don't have any idea about it. As I heard from my friends it's good. But sometimes food is not that good. But not all the time. And there are like north Indian, south Indian style also

Alumni/Alumna

My senior students are too good and great. They are very helpful. They used to share much about college, faculties, and everything. They take care of us like their sisters and brothers. They share whatever they know. Such nice seniors, we have got.

Exam Structure

It's good. And we also have a digital pad exam. Which we felt sometimes is not convenient for us to write. Because it takes a lot of time. We used to write on paper and all of sudden and that too in exam we need to write in the digital pad is kind of hard. But that also fine for us

Admission

I applied online while I was studying Batchelor's and based on merits through counseling they selected me and I opted for this course. Then I paid money online. Within a week my college started.

Faculty

3.5

Faculties are good and the way they taught us is good. They suggest how to study and how to refer to books and most importantly the practical works. For us, molecular work is important which will help us to work in R and D.

Actually I am currently in seconnd semester right now, I am not sure about the eligiblity criteria for campus placements. But I gathered some informations about the placement process with the help of students who completed their degree here recently. Most of the students having skills in demand based on the company requirements will get selected. Companies with good reputation will visit during campus placements. My aim was to getting placed in a company with good reputation and descent salary package.
