Likes

Huge campus and great infrastructure and facilities
Seniors are very supportive and there are events happening every other day providing plenty of opportunities.
There are a lot of clubs and societies so you can showcase your talents and skills.

Dislikes

Location of university is away from city so it is hustle to get there.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is up to date. Smart learning and new active learning techniques are being used in galgotias university to create a more interactive and beginner friendly enviornment. But sometimes exam timing is not great as our semester is behind other college's.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Placement Experience

A lot of great companies visit the campus and a lot of students also get placed by mass recruiters but the salary offered is not very much. So the average package is not great but some students do get great package by their own or by college if you are serious.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees for my course is 1 lakh and other than this i have to pay additional 15k as examination fee so i think fees structure of galgotias is quite affordable. There are a lot of scholarships such as sports scholarship, etc.

Campus Life

Galgotias is famous and well known for its annual and technical festivals. Every other day there is an event happening. There are a lot of opportunities in extra curricular because of clubs, socities and councils such as student council.

Admission

In galgotias, to get admission you didnt have to pass any entrance exam. Anyone who have passed 12th class with more than 60% can easily get admission in any course and branch of their. Because of this some courses have a huge crowd.

Faculty

Student to faculty ratio is quite reasonable and every student is assigned a mentor to deal with issues related to attendance, exams,etc. There is a 75% attendance criteria to give exam otherwise you will get debared.

Night Life

There is no in campus girls hostel but there is a boys hostel on campus. University has a great cafeteria with most of the food and stuff available on campus. But there are no great hangout places near college as it is on outskirts of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

I got offer from Indian Institute of Technology Patna for pursuing Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science and Data Analytics. I studied there for 1 year and completed my Foundation degree and then left it as there was not much exposure due to the course being hybrid. The admission process for Galgotias is either having a valid JEE MAINS score or a good percentage in class 12th. The merit list is made on the basis of percentage (most students are selected).
