Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum covers most important topics required in the industry. The syllabus talks about everything a beginner needs to know. A little more hands on experience would be helpful. The exam are not very far apart from each other and the difficulty level is moderate.

Placement Experience

4

Students are eligible for placement as soon as they start their final year of college. A lot of companies visit and a lot of offers are made as well. One of the companies that visit regularly is Goldman Sachs

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees 170000. You have to pay for compulsory extra curricular courses. Compared to other courses this course is expensive, for example, psychology honours degree is for 65000/year. Financial aid is available if you meet the criteria. Scholarships are also available in different criterias.

Campus Life

5

MCC is home to a lot of fests, you can expect at least one event every month. The library has a good collection of books, research journals, etc. The facilities provided are good too. Their are a lot of associations in campus from women's cell, quiz to fashion and toastmasters.

Admission

I didn't apply to any other colleges. To get admission in MCC you need to apply on the website, submit all the required documents and depending on your course you may be asked to interview. Their cutoffs about 75% and the admission experience is very smooth

Faculty

4

The size of one class is around 45 to 50. A few courses have as many as 70 in a class. All the faculty I had were really good. You have two exams one is your CIA which is an internal assessment, you have two CIAS every semester. The second is ESE which stands for end semester examinations.

Night Life

5

There are a lot of places near college worth visiting. The area in front of the college is a hotspot for everything. From eateries to gyms and parks. The locality has regular patrol every night and sometimes randomly in the day.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum here feels more practical and idea driven rather than just theory based which was one of the main reasons I chose this course it focuses on design thinking creativity and real execution instead of only textbook learning One of the strongest parts is how it slowly builds your understanding from basics to advanced concepts through projects assignments and presentations this helps in preparing for real world work because you are constantly creating and improving your portfolio rather than just studying for exams The curriculum does prepare you for industry to a good extent especially in terms of creative thinking software usage and project handling but it can improve by including more updated trends real time industry briefs and collaboration with professionals which will make it even more relevant Teaching methods are mostly interactive and practical but sometimes they can include more workshops guest sessions and exposure to current market tools to enhance learning experience Exams are conducted with two internal assessments of around 40 marks each followed by a final semester exam of 70 marks theory and 30 marks practical the difficulty level is moderate if you attend classes and complete your work regularly it is manageable Overall the curriculum is strong in building creative foundation and practical skills but with a few updates and more industry exposure it can become even more effective for future careers

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after their graduation project in the 8th semester which is the 4th year. A good number of companies around 8-10 come for the campus placements. The minimum package starts from 6 lakhs and can go up to 20 lakhs per annum. Almost 70% of the students get an on campus placement. Some get an off campus placement as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue masters in my field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

All subject professors are well qualified and experienced faculty and very friendly approach and guide us till we complete our course with good knowledge and give us best guidance for career in future and exams are conducted on mentioned time with very strict rules. It was little difficult but the teaching method helped to go through exams and get gud marks. Negative is only the extra charged v have to spend for projects and other rather than our yearly fee. Rest all gud.

Placement Experience:

There is some issue in placement, though we get placement the scope for the future through these placements are not that great. Many students fail to get proper placements. The scope or plan for many students is to try and open a new brand or collaborate with other students to create a new brand.
