Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is relevant but could be more practical. Some subjects are useful, but real-world application is limited. Exams are frequent and moderately difficult. Teaching methods need improvement with more hands-on learning and updated content for better career preparation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The per year course fee for btech all branches is 117110. This is without 10% discount, including lab fee, extra activities like technical coding (10000).The fee will increases per year for every branch. The hostel fee both for boys and girls is 75000 with 2 seater. Also 8000 caution money will charged. An extra fee has to pay for the students who are taken addmission via direct instead of councelling based on their branches. UP scholarship will be a great advantage for students with middle class family. It depends on wheather the student is hostellite or day scholar. It will be around 50k to 60k, based on year.

Campus Life

3

Overall campus experience is moderate. There should be annual tech fest called gantavya, freshers party called abhivyakti, anubhuti etc. and 2 times aktu zonals held in my college. There is a good library which consists of several types of book regarding every courses and each student have an issued library card through which we can take book from library. There are different clubs like dracula for acting, step cell for dance, euphony for singing, Gfg,csi, for technical coding.etc

Hostel Facilities

3

For both the hostels either girls or boys hostel fee is 75000 per year. The quality of food is not too good. After many complaints no action will be taken. The hostel is inside the campus. There a 2 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. In every room there will be 2 people for 3rd and 4th year but for 1st and 2nd year there will be 3 people in a room.

Admission

Well honestly I choose this college because of my parents as this is nearby from my hometown and it's well known for good education and discipline. There are 2 types of admission process, one is through aktu councelling and other is direct admission but you have to pay thefty amount based on branch you want. Admission is through jee result.

Faculty

3

In my college some faculties are extraordinary and knowledgeable they help students whether it is about personal life or in career. They always motivate students to never give up no matter how the situation is. Marking scheme in my college is moderate. But in AKTU it's not good. There are 3 to 4 quiz cycle each of which are 30 marks per subject and 100 marks for pre end semester.

Night Life

3

In my college there is no nightlife in but you can go outside with your friends and family by making outside pass this is only for hostellers. For girls hostel out timing will be 12 pm noon and in time is before 7pm. There is a small gym inside college. There are 2 -3 canteens.

Placement Experience:

If the CPGA is good and have good skills then campus placement is almost confirm, but in recent situation even campus placement has become hard. Mass hiring companies with 3.6lpa are becoming more prominent. 90% sitiing in placement are placed and average is 9 lpa for CSE but lower for other courses. If unplaced then I will apply off campus while studying for GATE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Official Curriculum: Good What was actually taught: Just horrible We were taught pre-ANSI C in the first year We were taught outdated DOM APIs in WebDev classes that were deprecated and strongly recommended against We were taught Java 1.8 instead of modern Java and a lot of times the teachers insisted that the syntax I used was incorrect even when the code was compiling and running in front of their very own eyes with the same syntax in place.

Course Curriculum Overview:

IIITL placement stats r v.good that is the only reason i took this college. And also it is a growing college so in future hope it is also good in fests and cultural activities as well. Areas of improvement is the tecaher student interaction as the teachers and directors r not interested in what students do, so yaa that thing and also the fests they suck. Exams all good nothing to change.

At JSSATE, from second year trainings start and after that we have to give various mocks at the university. So, training is done proper and therefore placements automatically becomes easy for us. Around 70-75% students are placed through campus and in my words, placements are better than the rest.
