There are two streams. Aided stream (day college) and self financing stream(evening college). In aided stream, you will be selected purely based on the merit list. The fees is really affordable in the aided stream. Self financing stream is a bit costly than aided stream.

You have to undergo six semesters of examination for completing your three year degree. For internals, continuous assessment (CA) tests will be conducted twice in a semester. These marks will get added as your internal marks along with the assignment and seminar marks.

I got it on the basis of merit. You have to apply through online now whereas during my time of admission it was offline. You need to fill the application. If you are qualified based on the merit list you will definitely get the admission (in aided stream). I'm not sure about the self financing stream.
