Course Curriculum Overview

I am a new scheme 2024 fresher student . From this year onwards the ktu has changed the syllabus and during first sem even teachers where unaware for what should be really taught . During beginning it was very tough for me to cooperate but nowadays its beacoming better to handle

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 50000 per year . But the fee structure may vary regarding the persons reservation category . Low caste people have only small amount but general caste students ate requirsed to pay whole fee structure

Campus Life

During the first semester the programmes take placed was just oke oke and some where just boring as at the peak but now its becoming more interested and nice . I had heard that next year tech will be taking place in our college

Admission

I had only applied for government and cooperative colleges . Cooperative college i only applies for college of engineering thalassery beacayse of the review given by my senior students who had already graduated

Faculty

My favourite faculty is hredu dev sir from mechanical department. He was handling graphics for our class in semester one . He is a woderful teacher in communication and his teaching talent is amazing

Night Life

College hostel rooms are very limited for girls and for boys there is not even a hostel. Due to limitation of rooms i am staying in convent but the food provided there is very poor and the hostel fee is fixed no reduction

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Campus life is good
