Course Curriculum Overview

5

1. The curriculum is designed by the faculties and industry experts. Using their experience of SDE, they've created structured curriculum updating it day-to-day basis. The faculties are from companies like MakeMyTrip, Zepto, Microsoft, UpGrad, Barclays, and more. 2. The curriculum is supportive for students providing options for early internships, promoting startup culture with guidance from respective mentors. Helping in personal projects and having mentoring sessions to track progress with students 3. I have no suggestions regarding the curriculum as it is good for now. 4. I have mid-term and end-term with a gap of 2 months and weekly exams which add up to 20% of my grade. Their difficuly level is good encouraging students to think out of the box and giving us a weekly practice/recap till the current syllabus

Internships Opportunities

5

Our university provides internship oppurtunities from the first year itself. But there is a mandatory internship in 3rd year 1st semester. Companies like RazorPay, Zuvees, RewardWise, Allen and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. The year-wise fee I paid for the first year is ?6,10,250. The fee is on the higher side 2. My year-wise fee is paid in semester basis. It includes tuition fee, technology fee, hostel & mess fee, caution deposit(one-time). I've paid ?50,000 for the seat block fee (one-time), The development and lab fee are called as technology fee which is ?1,00,000 (for the first year only), the tution fee is ?2,45,250 (including my scholarship which is 10% earned via merit), hostel and mess fees is ?1,80,000 (per year). 3. My batchmate fees is dependent on the scholarship they earnt which is removed from the tution fee. 4.The scholarship availability is on the basis of Merit(0-100% on first year), Extra-curricular(0-10% for all years), Women Empowerment(0-10% for all years).

Campus Life

5

1. We have 2 fests annually, DAMRU and Neutron which are held in alternating semesters. Neutron is also the tech fest 2. The library here contains a wide spectrum of books and are being added actively. 3. The university provides the latest Apple MacBook Pro at the start of the curriculum, also has a new age ac classrooms with Wi-Fi all over the campus 4. The university has a building called Learners Arena which contains sports such as badminton, squash, gymnasium, swimming, and indoor sports. 5. The university has various clubs like tech, fine arts, music, entrepreneurship, finance, and more.

Hostel Facilities

4

1. The Campus is residential, so the hostels are inside the campus. Hostels are double occupancy with facilities such as air conditioner, study table, closet, comfy bed, microwave, refrigerator, 2. The meal quality is inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes worse. 3. The hostel registration process is very smooth and it costs around ?1,80,000 (including the mess fee). 4. NA

Admission

I applied to BITS, EAMCET, JEE. I've gotten good amount of colleges in EAMCET but comparing them to the curriculum of this college, I chose this. For B.Tech in CS & AI (Newton School of Technology), we had an exam called NSAT (Newton School Aptitude Test) which had subjects like Logical Thinking, English, Mathematics(Basic), Mathematics(Advanced). Then for the people who cleared the cutoff(Calculated based on the people who gave exam on that day), we have interview round, and they accept based on the performance. If done good, we get scholarship based on merit.

Faculty

5

The faculty-to-student ratio is good. They have expert sessions where you can connect to mentors by booking time slots to discuss regarding roadmaps, current classes and more. Providing me step by step basis on enhancing my skillset. There is an exam every week on friday morning revising the concepts taught from the start to the last week. Providing us practice on the subject. They're not that difficult but they're 20% of the semester grade. As mentioned before, the curriculum is very relevant to industry standard.

Interview Experience

5

1. I had to give an interview as a part of my selection process. They asked me questions regarding my personal self and my skills in programming. 2. I didn't have any extra preparation regarding the interview process. The aptitude test was related to CBSE syllabus so it was easier and logical

Night Life

4

1. The campus is generally 24/7 with 3 places for food till 2AM and has many places to hangout with friends. 2. The hostel silent hours start at 11 PM and end at 5AM ensuring the student have a pleasant sleep. 3. Haven't roamed around in the night but there are places like Amrik Sukhdev, and Murthal(Has many dhabas), with Delhi city close by.

Other Applied Colleges

Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology - [CBIT] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I've compared the curriculum and understood that Rishihood University offers a better curriculum that is parallel to the industry

see placements are only okay , and its the fate of mostly all the colleges in india, u just dont have to depend only on colleges for placements, u have to do hard work yourself, the course i did i.e. csd is is really good as it allows you ti switch between aiml and cse according to your interest and roadmap
