Remarks

There are rooms for improvement. College is improving regularly. If you're not getting any better college, you can give this college a chance. It'll justify the course and fees. Plus you'll get ample opportunities to learn.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum was last revised in 2013. But right now University is working to provide better curriculum with blend of co and extra curricular activities. Frankly, curriculum of engineering is a question of national level. So this college/University is no different. But an above average curriculum.

Internships Opportunities

College doesn't provide internship. T&P department sometimes brings certification courses for some branches. But there's nothing like regular internship. That you need to do on your own. If you're good enough, faculty and T&P departmentight help you.

Placement Experience

1.5

College is really struggling hard when it comes to placement. Few companies are regular but they take very few or no students. Don't expect any opportunity for placement here. If you get one, you're lucky.

College Events

4.5

College has full fledged team for cultural activities with really very supportive faculties. One gets ample opportunities to showcase their talent in cultural domain. Apart from this college organises sports week and tech fest every year. Students represent and win at various levels from college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total fee is around ?5000/- per year. Which is negligible as compared to colleges charging in lakhs. This fee includes exam fees too. So it's feasible. Apart from this your expenses will be on notes, projects, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

They offer scholarships for backward casts and to those from J&K or North east. There are various scholarship for economically backward students too. Various students avail such scholarship. Being from open category I don't have much idea about that.

Campus Life

4

They're regularly upgrading their labs. Extra curricular activities are also increasing by working on making clubs for various activities. Sports equipments are not really available regularly. But college organises regular sports events.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels are not in very good condition. Three out of four hostels have been shut due to maintainance issues. Still they're trying to sustain the one remaining block. There's issue of dustbin and cleanliness. Most students prefer to commute from the city. Which is too at nominal cost.

Alumni/Alumna

They're working on their alumni network. Right now it's not very helpful. But it'll improve in next 2-3 years. Senior students help in academic and extracurricular activities. So overall environment is good.

Exam Structure

There are two semester in a year. Each has a mid semester exam and an end semester exam. Also, there's marking for vivas, assignment, project, presentation, etc. Exams are of moderate level. You can clear them easily if basic concepts are clear and study regularly.

Admission

They take admission through ACPC counseling process. Here, they consider marks of HSC and entrance exam, GUJCET. On basis of your scores they prepare a merit rank and you can choose your college online as per the cut offs. Whole process is very simple and very transparent.

Faculty

4.5

Almost regular lectures, faculties are willing to help if you ask them. They support us in both inside and outside the classroom. There are mixed reviews about faculty members. But my experience was good. Facilities are well experienced and highly educated (Some are from the IITs/IISC too)

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree, wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also, beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects, they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
