Exploring VIT Bhopal in first year

Due to too much boom in AI field I chose this field. And I have some interest in it . It fascinates me that how AI works. Curriculum is more programming oriented. We were introduced with coding subjects in first semester. There are tutorials based on the chapters. These are for internals. There are also end sem and mid sem examination. Exams are on the moderate side.

College helps in getting the internship. Companies like Microsoft, TCS, Wipro offer internship to the students. They offer assistant data analyst etc post for students. I am a first year student so I don't know that much .

I have listened from seniors about placement. Last year the avarge package was somewhere around INR 7 to 8 lakh per annum. Companies like microsoft ,TCS, Infosys, Wipro , Cognizant and other companies visits the campus . Last year around 88 percent student placed. I will go for higher degree .

The tution fee is based on the category you secured in VITEEE examination. For me I was in Category 1 so my tution fee is INR 1,98,000 per year.There is not such reservation quota for SC,ST. There is caution money of INR 3,000. There are 5 categories fee ranging from INR 1,98,000 to 5,00,000.

If you want to involve in extracurricular activities there is vast opportunities. There are above 70 clubs. All types of club are there like tech, non tech, regional etc. Time to time event are also held. The main fest is AsVitya held in February. It includes sports event, concert night etc.Classroom are equipped with projectors.

Hosel are just normal . There is categories in hostel like normal, premium and special blocks. Wifi speed is not good . Rooms are cleaned on alternate days. Hostel counselling was on the college's site . It was simple . There are also Pg option near the college. The are food varieties like south indian, jain non veg. Food is decent.

I heard about this college from the NIRF ranking. it is linked to VIT Vellore . I gave JEE examination and VITEEE and got enough rank to get admission in this college. Admission process is very easy . You must have 60 percent in class 12th. And rank under 1 lakh to get VIT bhopal in category 1 . I think category 1 is only worth it .

The course structure is good . Faculty members are also supportive All the faculties are Doctorate.There are 70 students in a class. For me my maths teacher was best . There are end sem in the end of the semester and mid sem in the early 2 months of the semester. The course are programming oriented . Programming subject were introduced in our first semester.

There is no such night life in campus . There is curfew times after 9 pm . 6 boys hostel and 2 hostels are inside the campus. There is not such hangout places near the college . You he to visit either bhopal or indore for hangout. The famous place near college is Panchmari it is hill station.
