i am study this college b.sc graduate general combination ,my sub in graduate course bengali and English ,zoology ,chemistry ,botany.i got frist year mark very poorly 38 % ,then the second year i got 55%,last year i got 68% marks

yes i got a three year stipend in my college.its really amazing experience by me.i got 5500 rupees in 3 year.total 16500 rupees.frist year when i got 5500 stipend.i injoy fully because this amount money frist time in my bank account.i really injoy it

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.
