ASADI Vyttila architecture college review

The reason I applied to this college was mainly because of the accesibility compared to other colleges as it is in the heart of the city and its location which is in the centre of a lush green Island which makes it a perfect setting for learning architecture. Besides this other factors that influenced me were that :- 1. Practicing architectects where very much in close relationship with the college. 2. The students are encouraged to participate in IIA related Programes, designing projects with importance to social service etc. 3. Honestly saying, I didn't apply to any other college for my M.Arch program. Due to the various reasons I listed earlier. But for my B.Arch admission, I applied to other colleges like CAT, Marian college, but due to the marks not upto the mark from the 12th board exams, I was given a shut eye, whereas ASADI admitted me not only on the basis of marks, but on the 3 step interviews from bottom-to-top management level, which i aced substantially well. I opted Barch is because it was my aim to be an architect. The most fascinating factory about this career is that we could walk through or into life all our imagination and creativity. My passion towards creating a space and and experimenting creative things which brings a new and good change in the society would fullfiled. I got a merit seat in ASADI ( Asian School of Architecture Design and Innovation). Just like many architecture colleges in Ernakulam my college is also on the way of establishment, yet we have many achievements in very short span it includes the rank holders from our first pass out batch. Architecture is not just about the studies it all comes with experience and never ending learning. At our college we have faculties who have hands-on experience in the field and from our professors we could learn more on the practicals as well.
