Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum is based on gamification model like if u show some achievements to the teachers in the last or even in the starting so your whole semester classes are cancelled for that subject and u have to give only the end term exams . Exams are almost in every week and you have to.paas all the exams .

Internships Opportunities

5

Lpu doesn't provides too many internship you have to crack it by own but there are some courses in lpu which will provide internships with 10000 stipend every month . Like some of the companies that work with lpu are Futurense quantil they provide internships for lpu students and Futurense is ai based company and quantil is a company of cyber security.

Placement Experience

4

After 5 sem students are eligible for placements . Google tcs microsoft Futurense quantil ore many more companies visits every year for placements. Highest package is of 3 crore and avg package for cse students is around 9 lakhs 70percent students are placed every year. My plan is to get a placement in a good mnc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly 170000 I am paying and I got 18 percent scholarship you can avail scholarship upto 25 percent. And uniform fees for the placement sessions pyu give 3500 and exam fees is 9000 per year and laundary and mess charges extra fees

Campus Life

5

Mirage is th e largest fest held at lpu in previous year paradox and anuv jain are called to perform. Lpu has 4 big libraries where more than 10000 books are available. Where you can easily issue a book. Lpu provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities but the thing is indoor sports courts are paid you have tompay yearly but they had minimal charges like 2000 a year or 4000 a year.

Hostel Facilities

3

You have 2 ,3,4 seater rooms available and you have apartment if you want to.live there . And heater is almost in all the rooms you have option of ac and non AC. Meal is good not that much hygienic but overall it's good . Menu changes every week and you have all state food available. You get the hostels at the time of induction and almost all.the students get the hostels there is no issue of hostels . Lawgate and green valley are good for rooms or pg.

Admission

I applied for dtu but I didn't get the college because I am not getting my preferred branch so then I choose lpu. And I have confirmed seat there but over electronics in a good govt college i choose AI and data engineering course in a private college.you get admission via lpu nest that is conducted by lpu and also with the help of boards and you get scholarships according to the marks you scored in lpu nest , jee mains , boards

Faculty

5

100 1 is the student faculty ratio . Some of the faculties are too good they solve each of your doubts but some teachers are average . Surender kohli sir is one of our faculty which I like the most because the bond he has with his students i think so anonther teacher can make that type of bond we have 3 CA's mid term and end term you get reappear if you are failed to reach the criteria and every reappear costs 350 ruppes and if you get 5 reappear then u have a backlog in that subject and u have to attend the classes again for that subject.

Night Life

5

Gym are well.maintained and there are more than 50 cafeterias and you have more than 100 food courts some of them are opened 24x7 . You don't have any restriction for boys to check in or out from hostel. But girls are not allowed after 8.pm Inside lpu robo park is famous place to hangout while outside lpu eastwood is famous place for chilling.

Placement Experience:

Students start becoming eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester, and that’s when most training sessions for aptitude, coding and soft skills also begin. The placement cell is active throughout the year and brings in a mix of product-based, service-based and mid-tier tech companies. The number of offers varies every year, but CSE-related branches usually get the highest share of opportunities. Companies come for roles like software trainee, analyst, QA, support engineering and web development, so there’s a good spread of entry-level roles.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

The placement of our college is good but its lack to bring big names but overall it's 3 out of 5 as it's basically focus on bringing software companies but our stream is of electronics so we donot have that much knowledge about coding so we lack to get placed this is the only disadvantage of the placement cell here

Placement Experience:

There is an option for students to opt for placements from campus in our university and if we seect that option we are given special training by the university it self in fields which we think we are weak. That include technical and non technical fields like soft skills. University also ties up with other triaining companis to train us in better way by calling tutors from outside the campus for teaching us. Over all if we consider we are already well trained by university to sit for on campus placements and we usually get a good paying job which also helps us to gain more knowledge and improve ourself.
