Course Curriculum Overview

3

Major teachers go off topic and theres no relevance to the topic or lesson or chapter they are supposed to teach. Which in turn confuses us on what we have to study. It would be better if they use interesting and enthusiastic ways to keep the class energetic and mindfull on what the teacher saying. Implying new methods of teaching would be of great help.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in our college goes on increasing year by year. According to the government of karnataka the girl student who do not have a back paper get back their tution fees that is a sum of rupees 1880 i think it would be better if there was gender equality in the government scheme like that or atleast a new approach done by the college like the scheme on behalf of the other gender students too would be appreciated. There is separate fee structure for each category of people. For example for NRI students the fees is higher whereas for the minority or sc and st caste have a lower fee structure.

Campus Life

3

Theres no campus life at all. Our college is a small building. As soon as we enter it ends. The events and sports activities keep happening and they encourage too. Every classroom has a projector two big blackboards and a projector screen. There is cctv surveillance in each classroom

Admission

I never applied to any other colleges. This was the only law college in town. So i had no option. And i wanted to pursue law, other law colleges were quite far of a distance so i chose to study in this college. First the marks will be seen and then an interview will be called.

Faculty

4

The examination process is conducted smoothly. But many teachers are not abke to complete their portions on time. So later on they skip most parts and mostly do not teach itself. They skip whole units. We do not know how to write an answer noone tells us on how to do so. The correction is very bad They give everyone just pass marks sometimes fail us with one mark or so. Only aim is to make money in the exam correction centers No matter how much if content we write we do not get expected marks that lowers our self confidence which is not fair.

Night Life

1

There is no late night activity in this college the gates are closed by 8 pm and locked by 10 pm Four wheeler vehicles of students are not allowed in the college. If there would be any possibility thry allowed it would be a lot of help from peiple coming from a far off places. Usual spot to hangiut is the canteen. But that is crowded too sometimes.

The university has a placement cell which is helpful. They help us get internships in which place we want (only if we are eligible). The placements are nice which are reported by the seniors. We got to know that most of the seniors had a starting package of 7L per annum.

Placements are so so as it's a new college and it's upcoming. You might have to build your network through internships you do during the course of law schooling. The placement cell is active but very limited opportunities. But I myself have gotten into SBI through the placement cell.
