Fully equipped cse and it labs with air conditioning
Ncc and sports for the students and boot camping for them

Course Curriculum Overview

We used to write semested exam within 3½ months but the actual semester exams have to be conducted every 6 months so here we are not gaining practical knowledge more instead we are sticking to the book knowledge

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience

There are more placements for it and cse students and less for mechanical civil and eee core branches the package will 4-5 lpa and less than that too Limited companies will be there and package will be less

I've got a seat in this college but I'm from OC category so I have to pay the full mess fee which will cost around 15000 per year Coming to college fee there is fee reimbursement as I'm from core branch mechanical

Campus Life

There are less events in our college Except a annual day Sports day and a fest Freshers and farewell are individual to the branches There are more sports and ncc and nss candidates will be more benefited

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Is a big no and food will be unhygienic and there are limited options in food The cooking area is quite dirty that you can't even imagine it's better to stay outside instead of staying in the hostel

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

Other colleges are far better than this college I'll definitely suggest the students to join in another college instead of this Unfortunately I got selected in this college Without knowing anything I get to join this college

Faculty

Some of our faculty members are qualified enough to teach mtech candidates but there are only few Remaining faculty are contract based and they don't even know basics of the subject They will just go through the topic while coming to teach

Night Life

There are no such hang out spots near the college the college will be in outskirts of the city So there are no chances of going out and moreover there will be only boys hostel near to the college Girls hostel will be far away

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.

I only applied for 2 colleges this and KITSW. I couldnot get into the other college due to my EAPCET marks.
