Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is similar to that of any enginnering college out there. Subjects are almost similar. In the third year students go through training for campus placements which is very helpful for the future

Class Size: 90Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are quite average. Its around 3.0lacs to 4.0 lacs. Students after btech can opt for Mtech/MBA. I am planning for grabbing a campus placement from the College itself. Around 60% students get Oncampus placements

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying around 175000 for a single year and 7lacs for the whole degree. 3000rs is additional for the semester registrations. That sums upto additional 24000 for 8 semesters. 14k for the admissions was an starting expense.

Campus Life

Annual fest called CELEGANCE happens every year around feb or march. Its quite good. Indoor and Outdoor sports facilities are available with yearly tournament. Library here is good also. One can study and issue books are per requirement

Admission

As this is an University and is autonomous. Admission depends upon JEE mains score. The more the better. Admission is granted on First come first serve basis. Late comers can pay donation to grab a seat.

Faculty

A semster includes 2 exams. Mid sem and end sem. Midsem carries 20% of the weightage and endsem carries 30% of the Semester GPA. Assignments, Labs and Viva also presentations carry the rest 50% of the marks.

Night Life

Nightlife is pretty off here. Almost the whole campus gets shut around 6.30 in the evening. Hostellers are locked inside the hostels and get out only during mess timings for dinner. Food is also okayish.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

We specifically study about circuit analysis and electrical machines in our electrical engineering. In laboratory we study about how electrical machines work in different circuits and different connections. We also study about analog electronics circuit. We are tested in our laboratory to perform practicals. We are also given assignments and questioned well in our viva to prepare us for our future campus selections. The question paper is equally difficult to make us ready for seminars and project preparation.

An Honest Review of My college Experience

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited to our college like Tata,Wipro, TCS, Infosys and Accenture etc . Our highest package in computer science is 1200000 per annum and Average package is 500000 per annum. Percentage of students getting placement is actually varies by year and course and average 40 to 50% students get the placement offers . My plan is qualifying gate with a good rank and do my higher study mtech.

This university has a higher rate in providing placement to the students.approximate eighty percentage of students getting campus.i had also got a campus in my final year.From the forth semester students gets a chance to sit in a campus test .There are lots of national and international companies visited to this university they give a lot of offer to the students.The average offer package by the companies are three lakhs a year.

A Balanced Blend of Learning, Growth and Campus Life at CVRGU

I chose C V Raman Global University due to its placement, less fees and modern infrastructure and updated curriculum. Compared to other colleges I apploed to CVRGU offered better labs industry exposure and a more practical learninf approach. I couldn't make it to few government colleges due to cut- off ranks.
