Likes

College infrastructure is best it's huge
All facilities are there like lab, canteen etc
Course curriculum is also good and practical

Dislikes

Gym facilities is not there so it can be provided
Hostel is not big so it can be improved seat can be increased
It is little bit strict for study but not to much

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in technical so I got intrest in Internet of things it is new it has so much scope and our course curriculum is good it prepared is overall practical and logical and industrial wise it is good

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 159500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees of college is 159500 for open category it is paid one time in.scholarship is also there for ebc students and even less fee for other caste students like for ebc it is 92500 for whole year one time

Campus Life

There is many fest like tspark for sports festival and zephyr is also so good many games and food is there it's like fun fair. There also one week holistic week for fest like inter sports and inertia for fest.also there is many Club to join not in first year but in 2nd year you can join all

Admission

I did applied for vit pune but cutoff of these year was to high so didn't qualified for vit in tech branch so I took in admission in this college. Admission process is simple people will guide you there for admission there is separate counter for different work

Faculty

Course structure is overall good it's provide many facilities even marking scheme is not bad there are total 3 exam in one semester 8 out of 20 and 34 out of 60 is qualification category practical is also provide

Night Life

Gym is not there library is there infrastructure is good and environment is also good for study it's available till 8 o clock till night even boy and girl common room is there so we can play there there is many things near to eat even there is cinema

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement. TCET has a very strong industry connection as well as political too. To get into TCET you have to give the MHT-CET exams and secure almost 95%ile score for tech branches for non linguistic minority.
