Dislikes
- MGIT has few amount of sports equipments such as it has only one cricket bat and limited amount of old volley balls
- The greenary should be increased. College should plant and maintain more trees
- MGIT has only fest in a year NIRVANA. Mgit need to include more small fests atleast one for a month
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is the updated curriculum which includes the subjects that are demanded by the top most companies.This curriculum is well designed to make us fit for the outside world and to crack the jobs.The method of teaching is not practical here. Faculty should include real time examples and present day scenario while teaching the course. Mid term examination will appear after 8 weeks of the beginning of semester and same with mid 2 after 8 weeks of completion of mid 1. Semester end examinations will appear soon after Mid-2 examination.
Internships Opportunities
Mostly service based companies hire the students such as TCS COGNIZANT AND CISCO visit our college. Internship will start after V semester and students mostly having 8 cgpa are eligible for placements .
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty good and the management is striving hard to get more placement opportunities for our college. You are eligible for placement after the completion of 5 semester. The companies which mostly visits mgit are cognizant TCS cisco etc. The highest package is 70 lpa and average package is 4 lpa. 95% of the students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
MGIT has an annual fees of ?1,60,000 which is tution fees The caution fee is 8500/- and there are no other fees. If your EAMCET rank is below 10000 and you are from telangana then you are eligible for full scholarship and you have to pay ?5500 per year. Else you will get a scholarship of ?35000 per year.
Campus Life
Campus Life is good here. There is only one fest 'NIRVANA' in mgit which appears in middle of March every year. Almost all books and journals are available in Library. The classrooms here are digitalized. Sports occur evenly along with academics. One time in a semester college conducts sports events and everyone who is interested can take part of tournament. There are almost all clubs in mgit every one can find their interest such as dance music art photography editing and also virtual games club. Auditions are conducted to join the club
Admission
I had chosen this college mainly because of faculty here and placement opportunities. Admission process here is based on EAMCET rank and Mains percentile. I had also applied for VNR VASAVI CBIT AND GRRR but my rank was not sufficient. Mgit cutoff for cse for general category is 7000 and below.
Faculty
The teaching faculty in MGIT are mainly professors and assistant professors. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. Faculty here are so friendly and always help us in clarifying our doubts. MGIT conducts 3 exams in a semester i.e. MID- TERM 1&2 AND SEMESTER END EXAMINATIONS. The range of paper is medium to easy and some times hard. Approximately 10 out of 60 students fail . The correction is genuine and you can definitely pass if you prepare well. The syllabus is the updated version MR22 which Includes subjects which are highly in demanded by the top most companies.
Night Life
There are many areas here to Vander around such as gandipet lake, park restaurants etc. theatres are pretty far from MGIT. Hostel is always open and every day College bus is provides in luch time to reach hostels .
