Course Curriculum Overview

Apart from studies the college life has taught many things. Comprehensive are well in the college. You got a skill full and well experienced teachers who are better at teaching in all aspects and will surely make you attain your dreams

Class Size: 1000Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

1 lakh 25000 per year for a duration of 4 years Scholarship exist you can apply for it if needed. The course duration is 4 years and you pay about 5 lakh for your total 8 semester. Also the course is difficult to pass

Campus Life

The campus life was very good. Iam personally an introvert. The friends and the sociality inside the campus made me an extrovert. There are many extra curricular activities like sports and games and arts and so on so that you can focus on that too

Admission

The reason I choose to join here is because I have it near to my house. It was about 20- 30 mins travel from my house. Besides that I have looked upon the seniors who was my neighbour and referred by him

Faculty

Course structure is simple. You got 8 semester. You got theory exam for 75 marks and practical for 25 marks. You need 50% on both internal to be eligible for attending the University examination under KUHS

Night Life

To be honest the night life wasn't that as expected . But it's safe for both men and womens at night inside the campus. Well maintenaned environment and under CCTV surveillance and too have guards. So night life ha complete protection

In approximately 6months semester 2months or more must be exams and it gives stressful time on these period but overall the curriculum easy and student friendly.based on the ex committee paper would be easy or medium difficulty.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

Amrita offers a good placement opportunities with different pharmaceutical companies like Cipla,Sun Pharma,etc. Eight semester students are eligible for campus placements. Cipla, Johnson and Johnson,Sun Pharma, Dr.Reddy,etc. I think the highest package was about 3,00,000/- per annum. 100% placement will be provided. I am aiming for further studies.

I choose this course because i like the chemical aspects and studies of drugs.the syllabus is pretty hard because of the frequent examinations.we have two internals and its university exams in just 6 month of time.so feels like very rush.but the syllabus is very vast.faculty could actually improve their method of teachings.

Remarks:

KVM College of Pharmacy has good infrastructure, built up in 1 acre. College provide transportation facility for its students coming from various locations. Those wheel transportation has to pay an additional fee. College has a library which has capacity of 100 students at a time. Library has subscription of various national and international journals. College also has a medical garden which is helpful for students during the practicals.

My dream college in reality.

I got this college based on my marks and rank obtained in the NEET UG entrance exam. You can apply for as many as colleges you like across the country but you'll get according to your rank. The cutoff marks each year depends on the toughness of the exam and the number of seats in mbbs is also increasing yearly. You can't get admission into a medical college in India without writing NEET entrance exam . I've applied to many other colleges also but I was not eligible according to my rank.
