Course Curriculum Overview

2

The course fees is cheaper in this college as compared to other colleges. They provide quality education with low fees which inspired me to join this college. But the college teachers keep changing frequently after some months of teaching which is very annoying here.Experienced teachers are needed right now in college who provide education without leaving college after some months. There is lab but there is no proper functional lab instruments and there is always shortage of lab equipments and chemicals which are needed for the practicals,so it needs to be fixed for better experimental experience. The timing of annual exam is 3hours per subject. The difficulty of the examination is moderate, everyone can pass the exam by one day hardwork. The marks depend on mainly how much pages are filled, the marks are given according to it.Some below average students fails the exam after having easy exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pursue bsc biotechnology. The yearly fees of my course in my college is 21000. In first year they will take 23000 as fees in which 2000rs is as caution fees which will be provided back after the completion of the course. The lab fees, development fees, sports fees, tution fees all are included in it. There is no scholarship provided by this college and no internship too.

Campus Life

3

There are total 12 clubs for the respective every curriculums.Every year Rangmanch named event is organised in every saturday of September to December and in April VYOM annual event takes place in which everyone show there talent in singing, dancing, playing different games competitions. The availability of books in library is limited some are available and some are not.In classroom there is sufficient amount of bench and tables for every student it has sockets every corner of the class for charging phones or charging any other electronic device,it has a greenboard for the teaching by the teachers. Some classes have installed AC.There is no sports facility provided by this college they promises alot but delivers nothing, they have a ground but it is only used for grazing by the cows of the college. There is no boost in any extracurricular activity, but if you push a little harder than you can have better things.

Admission

I have given neet examination but failed to qualify it due to high cutoffs and reservations.Due to this I have applied for this college and enrolled easily by my 12th marks and this college also only needs money to get admission instead of marks. There is no exam given to get admission in this college, you only have to register your name by giving some amount asked by the college and after that you will get admission in this college. But for your kind you need 50% in your 12th class for eligible to pursue education in this college

Faculty

3

There is sufficient teachers for every student but they are not permanent they change frequently with time. The relationship between teachers and students is good there is good understanding between them. There is two class test and a yearly exam takes place every year. The marks of the class test is 40 per subject and 100 for annual exam.I like the biotechnology faculty because there teaching method is easy and understandable and they are so friendly with the students.I don't like chemistry faculty because there is no any experienced teacher in chemistry, all the experienced teacher left the college for bad payment policy by the management. The teachers of chemistry keeps changing frequently after some months.

Night Life

5

There are many cafes and gyms around the college. There are foods available for both veg and non-veg people in cafes. There are many pgs available here around the college for living at cheap price.Pgs and Flats both are available here. There is a public library for studying. The students who live in the college hostel there timing for going out is till 10pm.The night life of the college campus and offcampus is pretty good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to take this course was not my decision so everything that I know now was after I got my admission. I would say it doesn't prepare you much and unless and until you yourself are not eager to learn and insist on doing things yourself you wouldn't learn anything here. So if you really want to learn you should always try and ask teachers for assistance and always be very active during classes or anything going on the department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Generally by opting mathematics we can pursue it for teaching or research purpose. I had interest in mathematics starting from my childhood so I took mathematics as my subject for graduation. The real world application thaught in this curriculum is equal to zero . We were unable to compare it to the real world application. Teachers could improve their teaching style they teach like they just come and write on the green board repeat it twice if we are unable to get it they ask to come personally to clear it maybe to save time . We generally have semester of 6 months out of which 1-2 months vacation we leaves 4.5 months in which we have give one CT of 15 marks after one months of classes . In CT 2 we have to submit assignment although it depends upon the professor. after 3.5 months of classes we are to give our end Sem examination. Its generally easy to moderate to pass the exams .

I choosed Bachelor of Science in Mathematics as I am from Mathematics Background. I studied in first shift from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. As exam is concerned there is no headache of passing exam because it's an autonomous college so the college easily passed almost all the students. The faculty were teaching well but it needs to improve in their quality of teaching.
