Likes

Theres was absolutely nothing i liked except i was getting a Government/ semi government affiliate certificate .

Dislikes

Every Faculty member in the building were misbehaved.
They took over 1 year to resolve a simple issue of delivering the final certificate.
Everytime, while paying fees , they claimed i had not paid the full fees and demand full fees with fine. Until and unless you showed a physical reciept, they would not stop this behaviour. Insanely greedy.

Course Curriculum Overview

Relevance was more or less absent. The course was supposed to be Bsc Biotechnology , but what was most focused was Hindi language and Botany classes. Chemistry included all 3 sub types and were extremely difficult because it was copied from Bsc Chemistry branch. This made my stydy experience quite possibly the worst one ever

Fees and Financial Aid

27000 first year 29000 second year 38000 third year The college decided different fees structure for every year , despite offering same education and no placement or internship opportunities. Affordable but very bad

Campus Life

Campus is very small, although well decorated. A plus point is places to sit all arround. The buildings of different departments were very close. Two canteens and many snack shacks inside. All quite good , and decently priced.

Admission

I applied to this college because it was the only option available. I had already taken a drop to study for CGPAT and ICAR exams. Due to corona , CGPAT was cancelled, and ICAR had very high cutoff due to 12th passouts just scoring 90%. The admission process was more or less just money. you ask for a seat , they give you a price , u pay money , they tell u you can attend class with a reciept.

Faculty

Absolutely horrible exam system. Minimal similarity between the syllabus completed or even mentioned and the questions asked. Study materials were very limited. Exam hours started from 7am in the morning, whic means students had to arrive before 6:30. Since i couldn't afford the ridiculous price of 1lakh / semester price of hostel , i had to live 2.7km away. Morning hours also didn't had auto rikshaws. I had to walk 1 hours to college, waking up at near 4.Am. Horrible experience.

Night Life

Quite lively but nowhere near campus. Campus area is completely dead by 7pm. where as just 4Km away from the campus , theres lots of areas where students go for fun. Lines of food trucks , mega malls , shopping area etc. And its safe , but not too safe as its recently developed.

GOOD BUT BORING

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very interesting. I liked the new NEP program its helps to study more in less time and in very simple way. I like the lab activities and sometimes I just find maths very hard and not able to understand whatthe teacher is teaching in maths.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to take this course was not my decision so everything that I know now was after I got my admission. I would say it doesn't prepare you much and unless and until you yourself are not eager to learn and insist on doing things yourself you wouldn't learn anything here. So if you really want to learn you should always try and ask teachers for assistance and always be very active during classes or anything going on the department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Generally by opting mathematics we can pursue it for teaching or research purpose. I had interest in mathematics starting from my childhood so I took mathematics as my subject for graduation. The real world application thaught in this curriculum is equal to zero . We were unable to compare it to the real world application. Teachers could improve their teaching style they teach like they just come and write on the green board repeat it twice if we are unable to get it they ask to come personally to clear it maybe to save time . We generally have semester of 6 months out of which 1-2 months vacation we leaves 4.5 months in which we have give one CT of 15 marks after one months of classes . In CT 2 we have to submit assignment although it depends upon the professor. after 3.5 months of classes we are to give our end Sem examination.Its generally easy to moderate to pass the exams .

Thoughts on my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course fees is cheaper in this college as compared to other colleges.They provide quality education with low fees which inspired me to join this college.But the college teachers keep changing frequently after some months of teaching which is very annoying here.Experienced teachers are needed right now in college who provide education without leaving college after some months.There is lab but there is no proper functional lab instruments and there is always shortage of lab equipments and chemicals which are needed for the practicals,so it needs to be fixed for better experimental experience.The timing of annual exam is 3hours per subject.The difficulty of the examination is moderate,everyone can pass the exam by one day hardwork.The marks depend on mainly how much pages are filled,the marks are given according to it.Some below average students fails the exam after having easy exam.

I am a student of physics department.This department have good teachers as well as students. Both are serious for there studies and no misbehavior are acceptable here ,not even a little bit. My review - My college

I haven't applied any other college rather than Sanjay rungta because I know my admission is confirm. I choose this college because from one of my school senior who is also persuaded his btech from this college, I get to know that the faculty and all over things are very better than any other colleges in our locality. The placements are also very well. For taking admission in Sanjay rungta , Bhilai first we have to choose a counselor then they do all the things , he/she will help us to know about the fees structure and all other necessary things .
