Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course i chosed is Bsc data science and i have been learning only relevant things and updated things and the course curriculum is uptodate so it helps us to prepare us for real-world applications and even for further academic pursuits. Faculties use real-world examples to make us help more. Per sem takes six months which allows us to take exams without any stress or urgency. Overall a great course curriculum.

Placement Experience

5

From 5th sem a students become eligible for the campus placements. Total companies visited last year was 83 approx. and placements are 1664 last year. Some of the companies -Wipro, TCS, Infysos etc. The average package is about 12lpa and highest is 18lpa with a good cgp of 8.0 or above. For the detailed info reach out the official website and got through the ctc of last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

1.The year-wise fees for B.Sc data science is 53700(for now) it can increase for 5% next year. 2.Apart from this no other fees are received (excluding exam fee-it depends on the course opt). 3.Fees are same for all. And 50% of fees will be paid if you are eligible for FGL scholarship (first generation learner).

Campus Life

5

Overall experience with campus life is good and infractrusture of the college is acceptable and the fest will be organised frequently, intercollege fest is conducted once a year. And it has a comfortable library and vast books and journals available in more than 3 languages. And the classrooms are good and has projectors. College support sports and NCC and yoga and many more. College has many union - student union, healthcare , women development and much more which have even impacted on students life positively.

Admission

Bascially, I did my PU in the same college and got a positive feedback on the degree college too. The main thing I consider this college is for the positive atmosphere, positive response from seniors and the faculties are more jovial towards students and helps in all aspects of life. I directly took admission in this college for all the positiveness it holds and its "Golden-Jublie institute" and the teaching , placements are pretty good. And the facilities we get throughout the years- library, canteen, labs ,stationary are rated high and college has been improving year by year. The eligibilty for the admission is minimum 70% of your previous year academics. As of now there is no course exams accepted.

Faculty

5

Faculties always jovial with the students and help students with personal development too. One-to-One attention is needed by the mentors. They motivate us and give a push if we feel a little demotivated. They support to participate in extra-curricular activities which doesn't bring stress to students. Almost all the facutlies are jovial , we can reach out them whenever we need them without any hesitation. The course curriculum are updated as needed. And exams are pretty neutral. Not many students fail to clear the exams. They manage it well as of some students. The relevant of the course is 100%.

Interview Experience

5

In the process of admission there is no any interview or written test conducted just being a merit student can be eligible. Have a percentage of 70 or above can easily get admission in. Since i continued with the same college it was easier for me. But yet the staffs their help you in easy admission processing.

Night Life

5

The gym, Cafeterias, library and public area are off at 6pm and this college doesn't have a hostel and campus timings are between 7.30pm-6pm. Since its a women's college the surroundings are safe to roam and hangout places inside college is student lounge which is spacious, and cafeteria and college garden.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
