Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelor's of science in cardiac care technology is very good course. U will deal with cardiac disease and how to treat it. This course has good scope in future. You can become cardiac technicians. Talking about exam timings, it is 1hour ,30mins

Internships Opportunities

Internship depends on the course and the departments. Some course has 6 month , 1 year and some doesn't have internship. Internship for medical related course, only few department doesnt provide the stipend

Fees and Financial Aid

College fees is 210000 INR, which includes tution fees , admission fees , development fees....etc. Registration fees is 1000/- . This is 3 year course with 1 year internship. Each year fees is increased by 10k. No need to pay during internship. Ramaiah memorial scholarship based on the merit is available.

Campus Life

Good campus life. Many events will be conducted. It depends on each departments. There are specific events that are conducted for overall University. Events like akaira ( a college fest) , kannada rajyotsava....etc. Yearly once , there will be sports day with awards for winners. Yearly once , service to society

Admission

I took admission via KCET councelling. I applied various colleges for the various course. It was the govt of Karnataka that alloted me the course in the ramaiah college. In allied health sciences, compared to other course, cardiac care technology is good. Admission process - admission can be done through management seat and also through KCET exam. If you are coming through management quota, you will have to write a entrance exam and qualify with atleast more than 50%

Faculty

College faculties are well experienced. This course is 4 years course ( 3years + 1 year internship) . This is sem wise examination. Examination has two components - Continuous evaluation and sem end exam. Final results will be 60% from continuous evaluation and 40% from sem end exam. Continuous evaluation includes presentation, assignments given , internals...etc

Interview Experience

I didn't not face any group discussion interview or any written test for exam. For management quota, you will have to face entrance exam , that most probably will be multiple choice questions type. For those who coming through KCET , no entrance exam

Night Life

Ramaiah college doesn't have gym , but one can find gym near college. There are many cafeteria in and out of the campus. There are many hostels in college, each with different timings and rules. Overall there is no restriction in timings. It's safe to roam around at night in the campus and also outside. There is a police station nearby, and also traffic police, watchmans , so need not to worry about safety

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students get eligible for campus placement, No of companies such as Cipla, infosys,accenture, TCS, wipro, Icici bank have visited our college, provide placements and 90% students get placed in reputed companies. My plan after finishing my Bsc ,i will opting for MSc Biotechnology, then a PhD.I will become a professor.

My journey in Christ University

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
