Course Curriculum Overview

5

the curriculum is very helppful for industry . the curriculum helps us to grab knowledge in every aspect of our life. the curriculum prepares you very welll for real world applications or further academic pursuits which is clearly defined by the placements and the admissions but still i feel some improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods that not only basics but advanced things should also be taught in order to built a strong foundation as well as teach some advance things. exams occur 3 times in a semester and the timiing is 1 month after the semester and 4 month after the semester and one end sem. the difficulty is moderate so anyone just studying 2 weeks before the exam can clear the exams

Internships Opportunities

2

the internship opportunities are not so high but yes 20 percent students get internship and the companies that offer internship are tcs, vipro etc and for support role . projets are to just support the head staff in the company. its not so easy to crack internship in the college, so applying for internship off the campus in this college is highly recommened and the internship are not paid usually free.

Placement Experience

4

the placements are also moderate but according to me in this recession time they are very good. from the end of 6th semester companies come in the college to higher students . so many companies like infosys, tcs, samsung, agnysis, etc come to the college. this year 185 students have been highered so far and many more are indulging. the highest package offered till now is 16lpa and the average till now is 5 lpa and the profile is sde1. the percentage of students getting highered is around 40-50 percents . my plans after getting a degree is getting a job and pursuing mba from open and then progressing in the career

Fees and Financial Aid

so my fees is 1lakh 45 thousand 5hunderd rupees and for the students entering with managment quota ther charge an additional of 5 lakh rupees after the college fees. theres no such relaxation of fees for category but theres relaxation of fees on the basis of merit and result. the top 10 performers of the batch get a scholarship oppurtunity and the fees for all the btech either cse or it is same throughout but the fees for bba is around 1 lakh and the fees for mba is around 1.75 lakhs

Campus Life

4

there are 4 annual and technical festivals in the college two are the fests which ussually occur one in september and one in march and 2 are technical events which are two hackathons which occur in october and april . theres a wide range of books and journals in the library and all books are acessible but they chargefor the semester books just for the semester books all rest book can be issued regularly. the facilities and technological provisions within the classrooms are very nice every floor has a lab including atleast 100 computers and labs are accessible and all the classroms are smart board accessible. the sports and extracurricular activites are promoted but not on that high level . there are many societies runned by students and these socieities are very good to boost confidence and improve communication skills of a student

Admission

so i applied for du for bsc and also good confirmed admission but didnt take into consideration because of the low placement of du as well as the efficiency of btech is very good and my college is very close to my house and ipus college hold a very good place in the market . yes i got rejection from many colleges such as dtu as my marks were not so good that i can make it to dtu . the admission process of the college is very simple . admission is done on the basis of jee mains exams . your percentile should be between 70-85. for any branch of btech and when your name is on the merit you go to the college submit your docuements as needed and the admission is done . my admission experience was good.

Faculty

4

the faculty to student ratio is not so good in the college but the faculties are very approachable and the faculties are very helpfull too . i liked mr yogesh sharma maths teacher as he is very helpful . he guides us in every possible way in order to get us some more knowledge . not only academics he also helps us in guiding towards our future our placement and all. i didnt like dr. ankit aggarwal the hod of it department because of his rude behaviour and being the hod he is also not accessible and not helpful. there are 3 exams per semestre and the difficulty is moderate. almost 10 perecent students fail to clear the exam. the course curriculum is very good and in real world helpful

Night Life

1

thers not gym but the cafeteria is not so good . theres no such late night activities there expect the fest. but yes there are cafes around theres no hostel but the campus gets closed after 9 pm. famous hangout placed outside the colleges are just cafes nothing so special . the locality is not safe to roam around at night. i would never recommend to roam at night near this college.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Computer Science)

because oppurtunities are less as compared to btecha and efficiency is also less

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
