Best college in Raipur

Amity is improving from year to year. We faced some problems there but now everything has improved so much. They have proper faculties now. Also they have guest faculties for some subjects. A specialized teacher for an important subject.

Course curriculum is the best thing in Amity. We study psychology, foreign language, English language and one minor subject in which we get a minor degree in whatever course we choose. And all these subjects are compulsory for every student.

Yes college provides internship but it is mostly unpaid. There were very few companies who provide paid internship. We ourselves look for the summer internship which was for a month and we had to submit a proper internship report to the college which has a weightage of 100 marks.

Amity provides placements to every student who applies for it. The annual package may not be high but it depends upon student's capabilities. Local companies only come for placement. There are very few companies who come from outside Raipur.

Sangathan which is a sports event happens every year in the month of October and Amifest which is a cultural fest which happens every year in the month of February or March. In Sangathan, team of girls and boys go to Noida Campus for further matches.

Amity's fees is expensive but it becomes feasible when you get scholarship. If you get above 70% in your 12th then you will get 25% scholarship and if you get above 88% then 50% scholarship and above 93% you get 100% scholarship.

Amity offers scholarship that is 25% for students who score above 70% in 12th, 50% for students who score above 88% and 100% for those who score above 93%. These criteria are different for other amities.

Amity is well equipped with labs, library and sports facilities. It has basketball court, volleyball court, football ground, Table Tennis table etc. Library is very large and comfortable. You don't need any books in amity. You can issue any book from library.

Infrastructure is very good. Ambience is great. Amity is always known for it's beautiful campus all around the globe. Hostel facilities are also good. Food is also tasty unlike other mess. Canteen and café is also good.

I didn't have any senior as I was the first batch of Amity. So I don't know about it. I can't help with it. There are some pages on Instagram or Facebook for that. You can take help from there. It also has a YouTube page.

It has semester exams for every course. Exams happen in December and June. Written exam contains 70 marks and 30 marks for practical. Written exam has 3 sections A, B & C. C section contains 16 marks which mostly has a case.

I got admission through Entrance test and Interview. It was basically to check english of a student. They also check 12th percentage which should be above 60% for most of the courses. In Journalism you can take admission with below 60% also.

We sometimes faced problem with faculties as it was Amity's first year here and they didn't have proper faculties for each subject. For some subjects we got faculty when it was only a month left for exams. Then the teacher completed the course in a hurry bury.
