Everything you should know about LPU

LPU has recently launched EDU-revolution in which students can get relaxation in certain subjects if they will indulge in some projects related to it or any past experiences. From current year LPU has announced that they will sort out students on the basis of CGPA and experiences nd they will train them and will provide internships in top companies inside the campus and study together. They are also providing many perks like , leetcode premium , Linkedin premium form top 600 students. There are three types of exams conducted in LPU - 1. CA's - means continuous assesments , one before MTE and one after MTE. 2. MTE - Mid-term examination in which half sysllabus will be covered. 3. ETE - End-term examinations in the last of semester The diffiulty level of exams are Intermediate level , you have to just study the contents dilevered in classes to score good marks.

1. Summer trainings: It is a short-term internships undertaken during summer breaks . 2. Full-Term Internship: These may be optional or mandated based on the academics prerequisites. 3. ON-the-Job training: These are practical sessions done in partnership with industry leaders.

From 4th semester , Students are eligible for campus placements. there is a seminar conducted recently where the administration has talked about companies are demanding students who has just completed 4th semester for guding them from scrath. The highest on campus placements is 1cr. this year and highest off campus placement till date is 3cr. There are 80-90% of students who got placements from LPU. My plan is to take placements before my degree completion.

If anyone does not have availed any scholarship which LPU provides , then the semester wise tution fee for btech cse is 140000. The scholarship exams are easy to get the scholarship upto 40% of tution fee. there is extra charges for examination fee of 4500 per semester and 3500 for dress which is will be charged only once in second semester. I myself have taken the scholarship of 40000 per semester and many of my friends have scholarship upto 56000 per semester. I have opted for Hostel and mess facilities inside the campus which is costs me around 80000 for hostel and 38000 for mess. LPU conducts its own scholarship exams which is LPU NEST by which you can get upto 70% relaxation of your tutio fee if you apply in first phase of LPU NEST which application starts from january. if you want to get admission in Lpu , apply early. There are many more scholarships on the basis of JEE percentile , if you have scored more than 90%ile then you will directly get eligible for 20% scholarship. LPU also helps students to get outer agency scholarships and along with all government scholarships through it's own UMS website and the officials are very helpfull throughout the process.

LPU conduts a number of grand fests every year. Youthvibe: This is a global open fest if LPU. In 2023, it was held between the 30th of april to 2nd of may. The festival includes a wide range of competitions focused on dance,music,theatre,sports,literature and technology. Spectra: This is LPU's inter-school youth festival which had it's 17th edition , spectra 2024, very recently. Library resources: LPU libraries are well-equipped knowledge centers and offers. Over twenty lakh ebooks. More than thirty thousands e-journals.

LPU provides variety of rooms like- Apartments 3-seater hostel 4-seater hostel 5-seater hostel In the room there is a study table , a chair ,a bed , personal wardrobe and attached bathrooms are provided in well maintained form. there is a option for AC and NON-AC rooms. For student's convenience , the university's hostel mess service offers a good quality of meal. there are fresh fruits also been provided in breakfast. For availing residential facilities , proceed to: 1. Use your student portal to access LPU login portal. 2. Go to hostel application tab and select your choice of room based on the rooms available. 3. Make payment for the service to complete registration.

I applied for Parul university and got the admission but i cancelled my admission there and get enrolled in LPU. I didn't try earlier to get admission because i heard from someone that LPU takes upto 25 lacs for btech which is absolutely Incorrect. once i got to know about the scholarships provided there i have make my decision to take admission in LPU.

The faculty to student ratio is approximately 1:26 but there is a mentor/teacher assigned for every 13 students to help them and to guide them. These mentors/teachers conducts one to one meeting every month to tackle the challanges faced by students academically and mentally. I'm currently in 2nd semester and every from every teacher i have learned are amazing in teaching. but some teachers connects through us very well. i would say Saurabh premlal sir faculty of maths , Karishma verma faculty of soft skills , pradeep kumar faculty of engineering mathematics were very helpful in my previous semester. Till previous semesters there were 3 CA's and a Mid-term and a End term exam conducted . but from this semester onwards university has reduced the 3 CA's to 2 CA's per subject which will be be very helpful for focsing on skills rather than only giving exams.

Hostellers at LPU have the luxury of using the gym. Students are allowed to buy subscription for the gym i.e. 5000 yearly. The uni-mall is the home to many other cafes and food places such as Cafe coffe Day , Domino's and many more which clsoses at 8 pm . Alongside the library, places like Robopark , student center, amphitheatre and parks are also heavy populated due to thir relaxing ambiance. These places are available for use freely during campus hour but students can also visit there till 9pm.
