Remarks

Pro - 1.) Feasible fees 2.) Not too much stress on attendance 3.) Freedom and no restriction on students 4.) Friendly techers Cons - 1.) Placement 2.) Location of the college 3.) Labs and instruments are very old fashioned 4.) Not too much scope for learning of new technologies

Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum is same as prescribed by the AICTE. The curriculum is very outdated , the technology which you study in your textbook is very old. But the good news is aicte is revising its curriculum and adding new and latest technology.

Internships Opportunities

No, you have to do it your own. Its not mandatory that you have to do the internship from any company instead you can also learn something new related to your academics qnd submit the respective certificate from that institution.

Placement Experience

1.5

For the C.S and I.T branch the placement is decent but for other branches like E.c.e,eee, m.e the placement is below the average. The major recruiter of this college is Infosys which is for all branches. And other companies which come, offer very low package and the work is also not good.

College Events

2

There many societies in our college like anugoonj which organises play and musical events than we have robotics and many other cultural and technical society which offers greater learning and work experience. These societies show thrir talent in the college fest whoch is held in march for 15 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very feasible 95k for one year and sum total of 3,80,000 for the whole b.tech course. The fees is very feasivle plus college doesn't charge a single penny on the name of extra activities.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can avail loan from outside there is no facility of loan in the college but the university provides scholarship for economically backward students ever year but there is one condition that the student should not have any active backlog.

Campus Life

3

There is a nice playground for the sports people and also there is a place for indoor games also like carrom board, table tennis and many more. There is sufficient space for the extracurricular activities, labs and instruments are average don't expect much.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There is no hostel provided by the college but one can find many pg's near by at affordable price. The rent of the pg is very affordable it will cost you around 4 to 5k but the location is not good. you don't have any fancy places nearby to hangout that's the only con.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no such thing in our college. You can interact and seek advice from them personally and every society is held by the senior students only where you can learn and ask your doubts. But don't expect anything much like alumni network.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is same as that of any other college. You have two sessionals which is based on theory , internal practicals , external practical and finally the semester exam. Out of the two sessionals first one is the main which is conducted by university and the other is organised by the college.

Admission

First you have to take the IPU CET 131 entrance exam and according to your rank you will be alloted college in the counselling rounds. There are three counselling round and to participate in this you have to pay the participation fee of 1000. If you don't pay the counseling fee than your name will not be considered for the counselling round but after the third counselling you have an option to go for the spot round. I suggest that if your rank is greater than 10,00 than go for spot round you will have better chances of getting reputed college than the one who is going for normal counselling round.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of my college is average. I would suggest you to study from the nptel videos from you tube. Some of the faculties are very knowledgeable and even have the p.h.d in their respective fields but majority of the faculty are below average.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
