Campus is absolutely huge ... Gyms , restaurant, library,garden, was provided
Faculties and staffs are fantastic . Very supportive
Enjoyable environment, Fest was held every year so yes you should come here

Just the fees are too high a general middle class student can't afford

Yes , placement is good in CHE so I have choosed this course Difficulty levels of exams are moderated if you have studied you can score good I have not found any fault till today about this course let's see

Internships Opportunities

As I mentioned earlier that many companies like wipro, infosys,IBM have visited last month So internship opportunities are really good If any body try hard college is with them.. very supportive there are many chemical companies like HUCL situated in Haldia so opportunities are as expected very good

Placement Experience

Now I am a 1st year student I would eligible for placement after 3rd year more specifically after 6th sem Last week Wipro , IVM visited our college Chances given are quite good...In Simple language if you study quite good you will be certainly selected with good package ????

Fees and Financial Aid

I have to pay 68500 rs per semester Tuition fees 42000 Admission fees 10000 Don't know about others too much Swami Vivekanand scholarship I have applied this year ... That's all If you can afford you should try here

Campus Life

Overall experience about campus life is really fantastic Various kind of books are available in Library as required every year a sports event generally organised Like running,long jump,high jump, football, cricket, basketball etc

Admission

Actually I am from mecheda so HIT college is near from my home so I have choosed this Without this I had got AOT in Hooghly In counseling but choosed this because of it's fame Admission process is offline Exams to enter here is all about WBJEE

Faculty

There are 3-4 faculties for every 50 students Bonding between them are really good Nothing much to describe every body is supportive Exams are held in every 2 months Not too hard ... If you have studied you can score good

Interview Experience

After wbjee exam there was no extra test was conducted For admission just give WBJEE score a good number good rank if you certified for TFW then it will be easy for admission your admission process including 4 year will completed within 1 lakh I am not a tfw candidate so I have paid around 5 lakhs ????

Night Life

There are gym and resturants in our campus Many students are from hostels there are 5 hostel... Seperate hostel for girls There are riverside , city centre famous tourist places outside college I can assure you that the place is safe and full of pleasure

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

Course Curriculum Overview:

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

I choose haldia institute of technology as it offers a good balanced between affordability infrastructure reputation and academic quality espicially for btech conputer science. HIT is the oldest private engineering college in west bengal with nice nirf ranking with huge campus of 50 acres and well maintained Hostels for boys and girls Average 4-5 lakh placements TCS infosys wipro I have aimed for jadhavpur and IEM kolkata but couldn't make it due to wbjee rank just below cut off some private college were out of my budget like amity and kiit The admission process is smoot and take students through wbjee counseling then seat allotment after this documents verification then admission...Read More

HIT, Haldia Better then Government Colleges of West Bnegal

I have got some government colleges but the placements were worse in those and this college has a huge number placements you know.. for addmission in this college 80 percent are from WBJEE 10 percent from JEE mains and 10 percent from management Quota. The addmission process is quite smooth just fill addmission form they will verify then pay the semester fee and your addmission is done ? verification step is most important there during addmission. I applied to this particular college because of the low expense and it being near to my state, it takes 6 hours to get there which is why I chose to stay at hostel. Good facilities are available, you will not have problem navigating the area however be careful of your surroundings.
