Faculty are so good they are so energetic and helpful
So many Library books and also having a separate area to study
The multiple clubs that college offers .

Dislikes

Food of fourt court I don't like that and coffee from Nescafe
There are a mini stationary shop and the price of stationary I think is kind of high
Less opportunities of internship program.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this cource because of my interest in computer science and engineering I think this course teaches us the very basic of the industry but this course entirely do not teaches us the things that require us to survive in this industry. These things are needed to be learned by us on our own. I think there are many areas of improvement in the teaching style of this institute mostly in the interactive section of the students.

Fees and Financial Aid

According to my experience I am currently pursuing my graduation in B-Tech and my first year fee is INR 248,810 and 2,3 or 4 year fee will be INR 234,810 In this amount tution fee is INR101,625 Admission fee is INR 10000.00 Enrollment fee INR 2000.00 Developement fee INR 8130.00 Because I got a girls scholarship and also I am from uttarakhand having a domicile so also get some discount on it College is good facilities are so energetic

Campus Life

There was one Engineers Day fest celebrated with lost of activities like eSports, dance, and every engineering students also get a voucher for free food just for one day Recently there was a festla also in which there was dance and there were stalls also on the side, the price of mini stall was a little high but by seeing them its cute. "festla" was organised by B.BA department

Admission

I applied in UPES but due to some medical problems I was unable to go to exam then after some recommendations my relatives told me to apply in Uttaranchal university and then I research about it and enrolled in it.

Faculty

According to me I am studying in B-Tech department so B-Tech department faculty member are good and kind ready to help everyone I can't say proper which one I like most but I think if I get a chance to rate them I rate everyone 5/5

Night Life

There are food stalls, restraunts, cafes near collage, gyms food courts, turf area. There is also Vishal Mega Mart near collage and within a 10-15 min walk Premnagar market comes from where we can get transports for different place in Dehradun. The market also has multiple banks, gyms, shops of all kinds. Hostle general timings and a 4:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on working days and 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on off days. We can use a application and a phone call of parents to apply for permint to go out for multiple days.

Versatile college with good RoI

Placement Experience:

One of the best thing I saw here is placement. If a student is willing to do job then this college is appropriate place from him or her.. Students are placed in IT , SALES , FINANCE, EDTECH , TRANSPORT, DRUGS , etc Students are eligible for jobs and placed from the beginning of pre final semester and can apply in each and every company as per required skills. Not big tech Faang companies visit the campus but a decent level IT companies and limited visit the campus. And conduct their interviews and exams process. Although interview rounds are tough and offcourse nail biting competition among the students. The highest package this year till now 34 LPA by an American MNC . Average package is 550000. Approximately 90 percent students got placed in different domains and fields. My plans are so clear. I will take the job first in IT companies and get some experience on ground level and will grow further.

GEU is a world class place to study!

Placement Experience:

Pringle, The Sleep Co, Lenskart, Luscious, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Google, Facebook and every tech company which potentially can come have come to our college for placements. On and average placements worth 6-40 LPA are common. Since some students miss out so on a whole the placements average stands a little below 10 LPA.

Placement Experience:

One don't have to go round and round as placements are done well within the time as most students here are placed by 7th semester. Those who left behind can try their luck on day zero as we have mass companies coming for a 3 day event and hire as many as they can.

Doon University - A descent college for btech course for residents of dehradun

Placement Experience:

The placements of this particular college are not good as much as i have heard about the placements of this university's before batches. They are still fighting and trying to get better placements for the senior batches which I wish they get it done, or i dont know what will happen in my time. The 7th or 8th semester is the one from which the students become eligible for campus placements. The name of the companies which offered were TCS, Infosys, HCL, Amazon, ICICI Bank etc. the average package of the college is about 4-5 LPA. Onlu 50-60% of the students or lesser are getting placements in the college. My plans are to do Mtech afterwards i complete my btech course in this college.

GEU provides best Intenrships!

Placement Experience:

Graphic has a training program and for every CSE student who haven't done intenrships it's mandatory for them to do that. So, because I did intenrships I don't have to attend those workshops but I have internship certificate. So, placements happen in the final year and Amazon, Birlasoft and likewise many companies recruit students of GRAPHIC Era University.

UPES has best sports access!

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of UPES School of Engineering is 80%. Now this is bigger than most as it is impossible to have that placements percentage with a batch of 1000 or more. UPES University is a novelty!

Placement Experience:

Around 100 recruiters is what UPES has and it is not at all easy for us even after that. I am placed while I am in my 7th semester and most students were. Those who are left will get another shot in this semester which is our last semester. All IT companies while coming to Dehradun UPES is their first coice university for recruitment.

I went for this college mainly because it is just little far from my home which is better because it near my house in just kilometres only that's why I go for this college and admission process for this college as they give scholarship of girls 5%. Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

I have applied also for Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and mohali , Chandigarh University and Quantum University Haridwar I have got a confirm addmission in chandigarh group of colleges mohali but I haven't got admission there as it was far away from my home. Also I got registered in Quantum University by submitting 10000 registration fees but later on I have changed my college to Uttaranchal University anyhow even I don't know why even I was selected and fulfilled the criteria for all other applied colleges.
