Course Curriculum Overview

3

I would like to throw some light on improvements of Course Curriculum, for example, I myself being in CS branch would not get any benefit from studying Biology and Chemistry. So they should definitely look into that. Teaching methods are fine , they use White boards with projectors and PPTs.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are available from 2nd year, which can also offer you pre-placements offer. You can also take part in them in 3rd or 4th year. I dont have much idea about this as I am in first year only, .

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible for campus placements from 4th semester, but they can apply for internships, in which our college helps to enroll. They can take part in internships from 2nd year and can also get pre-placement offers from companies if they perform well. After getting a degree , I will become a software developer and will thrive for growth there.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fees - 248000 Second year fees - 223000 Third year fees - 223000 Fourth year fees. -226000 For sc/st/ph family - tuition fee is completely exempted. For students with earning between1lakh to 5 lakh per annum - tuition fees is one third

Campus Life

5

The festivals here are COSMO, INNOVISION , NITR UTSAV and many more. COSMO and INNOVISION are held in year end and NITR UTSAV is held in February. All the books suggested by Professors are available in library, you can keep them with you for 5-6 days. Sports to play in campus are - badminton, table, tennis, cricket, football, volleyball etc. Badminton and table tennis facilities are available in hostel itself. There are clubs present for almost every interest a student can probably have, for example, APS - algorithmic and programming society, Cyborg - for AI and machine learning, Axiom - for maths enthusiasts and many more like for dancing, singing, public speaking, debate etc.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility is moderate, rooms are small and dusty, but we also have reading room in our hostel where you can go and study, the reading room is also featured with Air Conditioners. Meals we get are fine and have different varities for various interests. You will get your hostel as soon as you complete registering for your seat. I have no idea of locality ouside campus, all the students stay in campus, some students go their home, on weekends.

Admission

So the admission process for this college was JOSAA and CSAB. In which you have to select the seats you want, and then according to overall seat vaccancies and rank in JEE Mains, the seats are alloted. I opted for this college because of its NIRF ranking and also the top branch I was getting here. The cutoff really may fluctuate, but I got 3378 rank so, you have to prepare for that.

Faculty

4

Faculties are quite approachable, like you can approach them around the time they have alloted. Prof. Divya Singh is the best faculty I have studied from, here. She teaches math and is very passionate about teaching and Mathematics. There are some naive professors too , which are less confident, so you may not like to study from them. Exams are of moderate difficulty level, each semester has 3-4 exams i.e. 2 class tests , mid - semester and end semester examinations. The number of students failing depends on the subject. Since I am in first year, the course curriculum is not relevent at all till now for my Computer Science Background except we have got a subject C programming in second semester.

Night Life

5

Students unwind after a day of classes through playing video games or sports. Personally, my favourite hangout spot is a place where I can work out. Overall college life is a 10/10 and I think everyone will like it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs
