Course Curriculum Overview

4

The extra subject you have to choose us pretty fun to do and also promises good grades . The curriculum is bit of like a mix so it's real life applications are not many except the ethics one which is meant to do especially that but it is pretty much the same stuff taught in other branches . The exams are very very far away from each other and give a lot of time to prepare

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year there are some extra fees like admission fee 2500, caution money (refundable) 10000 and institute emergency fund 12500 (refundable). These are same for all the categories. Then comes the tuition fee of 62500 which is told that is going to increase upto 65000 in the upcoming years. For SC/ST/PH/ Family income less than 1 lakh this tuition fee is totally exempted meaning it's 0. Then the student activity fee, medical fees, hostel seat rent , other fees (include other small fees) are 2000, 2000, 5000, 5000 respectively. These are to be paid in each semester and with no exception . The hostel fees and mess fees vary from hostel to hostel but ours is 5000 and 17500 for 1 semester.

Campus Life

5

I don't know about all of them but Cosmopolitan, Technofest, and AstroNITR are the ones I have been to. These are very fun to attend and there timing is adjusted to better let all of the students attend them . The books are easy to take because all it needs is just your college ID The facilities are a lot like AC and Projectors in every class which ensures that all students can see the board. The sports are the thing that i fell in love with because whatever you play you will find your group Clubs are available to people who even want to start learning you just have to apply.

Admission

Because it was closer to my home when compared to the top2 and 1 NIT. Our college is the highest fir giving placements in CS and other core branches . The college life is pretty fun because of mixing of student from different regions of India which is not that much seen in the top colleges . The admission process is crystal clear there is rush but every query is answered write there if you just sit and listen

Faculty

5

The faculties are very supportive for students approaching them but the topics are so hard that having doubts is also a problem . Our maths prof divya mam. She was like super informative in math and stopped for explaining the basics of 10th and 12th. Our electric prof in 1st sem gave me the most trouble and had to watch a 60 lecture playlist a day before exam because she was too confused herself to teach us something . Marking scheme is 30 for midsem 50 for endsem 20 for attendance and class attentiveness but like everyone gets approx 15. The exams are hard but just going after solving pyqs guarantees a minimum B . Approximately 1 in a 33 people fail to clear the exam.

Night Life

5

Gym are pretty great consisting of all of the basic equipments and machines.Cafetarias are the best place to hangout as couples.librarys net Is just great. There is no place except the academic buildings that you cannot visit anytime. Hostel timings are that the gates are closed in between 10 P.M. to 4 A.M. but if you have to go out for the night you just have to write your name in the register before going and if you even end up late( There are BACKDOORS). Hangout places for some intimacy is golden jubilee building. Hexagon for parties , dominos for fun and the locality is great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.
