Likes

The campus in the Reva university is mesmarizing.
The faculties were very friendly and have helped in everyway possible. They have guided us in a very effective way and have also helped in doing many projects.
Infrastructures are very good. we had many buildings in the campus and each blocks are divided into different branches

Dislikes

About the placements our batch have worst experience. only few have been placed in the batch and remaining haven't been placed.
The food court inside the campus is very expensive.

Course Curriculum Overview

I think data science is booming in the current industry so i thought of taking this course. Since our batch was the first batch to introduce Data Science in the University we had many disadvantages. The concepts and syllabus were not very excellent to us. We had to learn only few concepts.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly i have paid 1,20,000 for two years. So in total I have spent 2,40,000 as a tuition fee in the college. I had stayed in the hostel in the first year of my MSc. So i have paid almost 1,00,000 for the hostel which is very expensive. My batchmates have also paid the same amount as of me except for the NRI. NRI's have paid more amount to the college.

Campus Life

The campus is amazing. It has trees everywhere and is mesmerizing. We had many fests and events. The founders day is celebrated grandly in REVA University. The classrooms are very spacious and can easily accomodate many students

Hostel Facilities

For a year i paid 1,00,000 rupees for the hostel which is very expensive. Hostel Faculties were very strict and they come and take attendance of each day and check whether the students are there in roomor not.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I only applied to Reva university. I was impressed by the campus and the infrastructers of the campus. We dont had any entrance exam it was a direct admission for us. So to eligible we shloud have completed BSC in mathematis, Statics or Computer Science.

Faculty

There are many faculties for each subject. all the teachers have helped a lot. All the professors are very knowledgeable and helped each students individually in doing the projects. There were 4 sems and for each sem we had main exam and in each sem we had internal exams also.

Night Life

The Reva campus has gym and food court inside the campus. Even though food court is very expensive students still hangout in the food court. Even in the ground students hangout. But We should be inside the hostel within 9 pm.

After joining the course with 3 months of starting of the course the placements will be startedforthe students to apply for the placements. Tier-1MNCs companies are visiting for the college which are proving high package . The highest package got is 94LPA and average package is 10LPA. 95% of students got the placements.

The courses they offer are not so relative to our stream. We also had questioned this to higher authorities. But they just say that the syllabus is fixed and they cant help . And if we need to pass we have to study those subjects.

Campus placement conditions have improved in IISc after the inception of campus placement cell. Average package is around I would say 25 lpa.
