Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum of my course is updated with the new changes in technical world . Our college focuses more on the skills and training of the students. Theory and practicals are equally important in my college . And the teaching methods are also improved according to the changes in the updated curriculum. My college supports the students in there own projects and represent the students. The learning process is very interesting in our college . The management supports the skilled students and faculty members also help the students to gain the required knowledge for their projects

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship opportunities are very well in my college . My college offers two internship and training programs after 2nd and 3rd year by their own . But besides this college gives us so many internship opportunities between the running semesters and training programs with the help of the tie up companies and brands . And also provide us the working experience. It depends on the students to join or not . There are also many training programs run by our college in vacations. The overall internship program is nice and reliable .

Placement Experience

3

The placements of my college are quite good for my course and also they are nice for other branches . The highest package of last year was 47 lakhs per annum for the CS branch of my course and average package was 6 lpa . I am in first year right now so i can not tell about my placement but yes the placements are nice in our college and the rate of placement is also decent . My college has tie ups with some companies and train the students according to the demand in the industries. Students who wants to do start ups our college also supports them and give some amount of investments. The culture of my college is really very helping and supporting.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearwise fees for my course is about 1.5 lakh including all the feez into it . There are scholarships for economically backward classes and also reservations for the lower categories. The fees of my college is affordable as compared to other private engineering colleges . I am only aware about the average fees per year it increases with 10% every year .

Campus Life

3

There are so many festivals and events happen in our college . And my college performs so many cultural events too . The biggest fest of our college named PRAVAAH , has so many events . exciting activities , VIP guest visits , etc and this fest lasts for more than a week . There are around 15 -20 clubs in my college and students can join any club as per their interest . These clubs promotes the learning, skills , social attitude , and many more things . The impact of these activities on the life of the students is that after so much of tiring schedule we have some time for fun and enjoyment which keeps us joyful and happy and increases our efficiency. And also distresses us .

Admission

I have got into this college by my jee mains percentile. I have opted this college over two government colleges i have got because of affordability and less distant from my home towm . I have got into the UIET Hoshiyarpur and RV college in Bangalore but i dropped both these colleges because of affordability and also i belong to rajasthan and these colleges are too far for me to settle . Hence i applied for the state counseling of rajasthan called REAP and i got SKIT Jaipur in second last round .

Faculty

5

The faculty members of my college is the best part about the college .I was truly impressed by the way of teching and the behavior of our faculty . The faculty of my college is well qualified and have high experience of teaching of about 15 to 25 years . There are two mid term exams are conducted and one end term exam is conducted in one semester . The marking schemes are dependent upon the teachers of first two mid termexams and the marking scheme of end term is decided by the management.

Night Life

5

My college is located outside of the city jaipur but it has surrounded by good market and has all the necessary facilities around it . The timing of night for college hostels is different for girls and boys but emergency is considered. And the locality of our college is totally safe to roam around at night and there are so many places around my college which are tourist places .

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle, bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

Reviewed on Mar 2, 2025(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.
