Likes

the girls boys ratio is very good and caltech technology is used in the university.
university has 100% doctoral faculty and the facility is very good.
university weather is very good and the sunsets are most beautiful.

Dislikes

the competion is very distasteful and people are little selfish.
the management is not so good and the functions are not well organised.
proctor permission is required for every outing which is very unlikely

Course Curriculum Overview

the courses are very good and designed to make an engineer industry ready and teach us skills . the group projects are well organised so that students can connect well to each other. the caltech technology is also very good.

Internships Opportunities

the internship is hard to ctack . only skilled and connections are very important to get the internship the competition is very high and only few students get it. it is offered in microsoft , amazon, paypal etc.

Placement Experience

the placement is decent compared to other private engineering college . the companies recruiting are microsoft , tcs , wipro , amazon, google , cognizent etc. the placement is overall decent . some students are not placed

college fees is divided in five category 1st category- 200000 2nd category-300000 3rd category - 350000 4th category- 400000 5th category- 500000 there is no scholarship available for finacially rich student and a star scholarship is available for poor student

Campus Life

the overall experience is good the gym and academics keep me busy. the clubs are very decent and the overall scene is good. the infrastructure is vry good college has two academic block, ab dakshin , architecture block etc.

Hostel Facilities

the hostel facility is very decent. it has 2 bedroom , 3 bedroom , 4 bedroom, 6bedroom type rooms in the hostel . there are 8 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel . water is decently available and gyms are also there

Hostel Fee: INR 130000 per year

Admission

the college is among top reputed college and also the infrastructure is very developed and the acedemics is also well designed for industry ready skill . the admission process is very smooth . the overall process is decent.

Faculty

the faculty is well behaved ,qualified and polite . the university follows 100% doctoral faculty rule which is very good and looks professional.avr mayuri and kiran kumar behra are among the best faculty and they teach very well

Night Life

there is no nightlife in this college . after 9 pm no student is allowed to roam in campus and girls are not allowed to go after 7:30 pm so the girls cannot have any kind of nightlife here . for boys half campus is locked aftetr 7 :30 pm

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Placement Experience:

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
