- I love the course design and curriculum followed in BTech

- The academic assignments, projects, and the workshops hosted here are indeed helpful.
Dislikes
- I think the college cand do a bit more with the infrastructure.
- The transport facilities should be extended to more routes, some places to which the nearest stop exceeds 2 kilometres.
- On some events, it gets too crowded , but this will get managed eventually with a developing infrastructure. Might take some time, but it will.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite good and focuses on all aspects of education and not just typical engineering. One gets insights to every field of related studies in some semester or the other and gains an overall knowledge, that is the best part about it.
Internships Opportunities
Since we have many conferences and seminars held, students get a plenty of opportunities to work on research projects and build some skills. For internship point of view, students are allowed to sit along pre placement offers so as to obtain internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
Students get placements here quite often with a good cgpa and skillset. There are also pre-placement offers made in the third year itself. The placement percentage has always been around or above 95 and that is quite decent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee per semester for this course varies from around 1.2 to 1.5 lakh, that sums to around 2.4 to 3 lakhs per year, depending on which branch you are enrolled in and if you have opted for some specialization. The institution does provide some merit-based scholarships and there are provisions for easy access to educational loans.
Campus Life
We have many clubs focusing on various activities, including dance, music, theatrics, fashion, debate, literature and all of these clubs are active with events and workshops. We also have a NSS wing in the college that aims at social service in the best ways possible. We have several conferences, seminars, and even a HR Conclave - Proxima hosted by our college.
Admission
The admission process here was through the university entrance exam, SAAT. The sores, just like any other entrance level exams, have a cut off on basis of which one gets through to take admission here. More over nationally accepted entrance test scores are also considered here for admission.
Faculty
Most faculties at my institute have completed their studies from elite institutions like the NITs, IITs, IIITs and some are even research fellows at international organizations. We have some of the best teachers who not just teach us, but also tell us how to apply the knowledge in the best way possible in practical projections. We have two exams in a semester, a mid semester and an end semester, and they are well to do if one has been a regular reader of textbooks and has done a good practice prior to exam. Exams stick to the syllabus and do follow the pattern of the curriculum.
Night Life
We do have a gym, a library, and a five-storey cafeteria. The library hours are from eight in the morning to around seven in the evening and we have a very huge and appreciable collection of books there.
