- Tye effectiveness of placement is pretty average
Course Curriculum Overview
My dream from childhood was to be a software engineer that's why I choosed this course. The curriculum prepares me to make me stronger in programming, logic building etc. Improvements needs to be done in systems. They are low end systems in labs. The college provides enough time for exams.
Internships Opportunities
Companies such as infosis, Wepro, TCS, Accenture etc are come and good offers are also made under internship. Projects such as drone, electric vehicle, many softwares are done here.. which later made a good name in hackthon also
Placement Experience
From 7th semister, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies such as Bijus, Infosys etc. have visited Highest package is 15 lpa and average is 5 lpa. 40 percent students get placement usually. My plan after getting the degree is to do Masters degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
We pay about 125000 rupees per year as course fee. And it's a little bit higher in 1st year due to some more expenses such as bags, uniforms, notebooks etc. The admission fee is about 110000 rupees. Tge expenses in lab per semester may be uptop 300 rupees due to lab records, projects etc. Sc/st students also do have some discounts but it's not particular.... Scholarships such as Jindal,Medhabruti,Prerana etc. are available
Campus Life
Annual fest named 'Akanksha' is done every year in the month of February. The library is pretty good. A lot if books are found here to study. Sports such as cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, kabaddi , etc are done properly here. Extracurricular activities such as hakathon, singing and gyms are also available.
Hostel Facilities
Room provides 1 chair , study table and one space for storing per student .. 4 students per one room are given. With good washroom facilities and proper hygiene. Meal quality is little below average and menu varitiy is pretty good. Registration for hostel is done during admission and if someone wants to join hostel after admission he needs to visit hostel office in campus. The locality is safe and good if someone rents a room or PG.
Admission
I applied for ITER, Silicon, CV Raman, GEC etc.. I got approval form gec and this College but I choosed this College because I found this better from gec in every aspect. Students can easily get admission in college in admissions section. The eligibility to get admission is only if the student has appeared jee mains and ojee. The student doesn't need any specific rank.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is about 1:60. They share good connections with students and provide decent facilities for education. I liked prof. Ravi Narayan Ratha as a good professor because he inspired us well and in a liytle strict manner. I didn't like Prof. Fakir Senapati. I found him little rude and careless to teach students. Per semester there are two exams held. One is mid sem and anather is end sem. They exams difficulty level is standard. Most if the students gets passed . The course curriculum is Pretty Standard.
Night Life
Gym is pretty good here, the college provides in campus food court, snacks store, barbershop etc and outside campus there are also every facilities available. The campus closes at 11pm adter that no students can enter or exit from campus. Hangout places near college are Dn Regalia Shopping mall, Dehras Dam, Barunei hill, etc. Locality is sfafe to roam around night.
Other Applied Colleges
Gandhi Engineering College (GEC Autonomous) | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
I found the low chance of placements and below average fasciitis in the college.
