Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is moderately relevant offering a good balance of theory and practical knowledge .it prepare us for real world applications and further studies.however integrating more hands on projects and tools would imporve teching methods..exams are manageable but moderately challenging

Internships Opportunities

3

internships at my college are limited with various companies and organisation offering development and IT support roles with stipends ranging from 5k -8k ..students workmon projects such as software development and data analysis, gaining pratical experience and skill development

Placement Experience

3

The placemnt scenes at my college is decent, particularly in cse and ece branches. companies like infosys, tcs and wipro visit with avg pack of around 3-6 LPA.. in ce approximately 40 out of 70 student batch secure placemnts..while others pursue higher studeis..over all placements are strong in specific branches, efforts to improve oppotunities for other branches are ongoing

Fees and Financial Aid

In my college, the tution fees is around 10k per year. For students staying in college hostel, the food and accomodation costs around 3,5k per month.addtionally there are exam fees of 2k per emester and additional college sports, arts fee of 3k per year.. i got admission through KEAM (Kerala Engineering and Medical entrance exam) on merit basis. The fee strucure can vary depending on the students catogory and reservation..with some categories receiving additional concessions. There are several schlorships available to support students financially..like e garntz , NSP etc

Campus Life

4

campus life at my college is lively ,festuring technical-clutural fest anually .cultural events and sports meet occur regularly with acess to a variet of sports.the library offers a wide range of books and journals.. clubs such as IEEE, ISTE,IEDC, dance, music ,robotics and much more enhances student engagement.NSS promotes community service...overall campus provides a well -rounded experience with ample opportunities

Admission

i chose this college because it's near my house and the CSE course has a decent cutoff. i applied to other top colleges but didnt make it due to high cutoffs in keam, the admission process was smooth, with clear guidlines and moderate cutoffs at this college

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is adequate and most faculties are approachable.the course following since 2024 is 2024 scheme syllabus which in industry relevant ,with semester exam.some teachers focus too much on theory. exmas are challenginging but fair ,most students pass

Interview Experience

4

admission to GEC Wayanad requires a descent rank in keam. keam tests physics, maths and chemistry. no GD or interview is needed . Prepare with PCM books, and previous years question papers to get a good rank

Night Life

3

nightlife around campus is quiet with facilities around college campus closes by night..all sort of facilities like gym, cafeterias are inside the campus and mostly avialable at day time...cafes and local hangoutes around campus provide limited late night options

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the curriculum covers key subjects like Python, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Deep Learning right from the early semesters. The inclusion of electives such as IoT, Cloud Computing, and NLP made it future-relevant and versatile.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
