The course curicullum is pretty versatile and in general it contains a maths subject , logic building subject, one electronics subject , one skill enhancements ,one liberal studies and rest computer related subjects .So in that case not considering the job or the company or the feild would be working for this is pretty relevent and when it comes to real world application I don't know till what extent am using it when maths and EC is kept to considerations but computer related subjects involeve data structres and logic subjects involve real world problems and when it comes to teaching methods it is as per curiculum and formal but nothing unique or engaging . Taking frequency to mind every subjects has it's own difficulties and easy topics where few can be solved and finished within half of time given but few like M3 , Data structures require lot of time for thing and also writing hence it is very very difficult for an average student also to complete the given question papper and when it comes to a poor student he fails to complete the examination .

As I am in the 3nd Sem I am not so educated about the internship opportunities the colllege offer but I heard there is a tieup with Microsoft with the college. Every sem there are projects in most of computer or say coding related subjects and its well guided and many of them come out with many problems and solutions which also includes real life applications .

The placements are average in the college .Students from 5th Semesters are allowed to attend placement drives . Companies like Amazon AWS Flipcart , Uber, TCS ,WIPRO, InfoSys, Cognizent, Accenture, LnT, MineTree ,NTT Data etc .Highest Package 25 lpa and average lies between 4 to 7 lpa .The college gives a stat of 100% but when you dive deep you will know that that's not true according to my estimation I would say maybe 80% placements . I would prefer for off campus placements than campus and probably in the futue I would like to go on with some other feild ,after earining , saving and working for few years .

The Yearly fees i will be paying is 1,27,358 /- .The tution I pay is 98000 /- ,which is set by kcet .The examination fees is 10,000/- , library includes 2000/- ,and the rest i.e caution ,management and skill enhancement fees is 24000/- . When it comes to scholarships we avail gov. scholarships and private scholarships . But gov.scholarships are usually dealayed and the money is credited after a year atleast after the aplication.

The Campus is undoubtedly beatiful and the infrastructural is a marvel and gives a feel of living in a different country .There annual megaevents like Tarang which happened in 2023 and celebs like Asess kaur who also gave concert were invited and this year Arjun Janya, Guru Kiran and more celebs were invited and Barfi gave a concert . And there are also mini events like Kannada Rajyothsava and Holi , and many more events are conducted .There are many books in library and can also write research papper after reading and many magzines , journals , research pappers , Phd pappers and many more available and there is a e-Library where you can access computer systems and learn things.The Faculties are Professional and eligible to teach and the way of teaching is also pretty good and technology in classroom there is Smart board and also white boards but the network there is very bad and there is hardly 1 bar of signal available. There is Cricket ground , Footbal Ground ,Running Track , 5 Basketball courts , Volley Ball court , Tennis Court and squash court and many competitions are conducted regularly and there is a huge scope for Extracuricullar activities. There are many clubs includes a film club - Echoes of Lumiere ,Cultural Club - Centre for Performing arts and IEEE , Full Stack Development and sports club. The culture of club is there in DSU but the concern is that it is not accurate and lots of internal politics happen and especially CPA club have artists who are below average at there work and maybe the quality could have been better .The impact of campus life on student life is very huge and for instance my life itslef has changed alot in a good way and also in a bad way.

The worst part in the college is the Hostel as it only looks rich from outside but the quality used to construct is very cheap as once part of ceiling fell and its overpriced too much which is 2lakhs and you pay arround 90k just for food and the food here is neither good and complaints are never taken into consideration and I am planning to leave hostel and joing a pg outside and also facilities inside the are just for showoof ,most of the time it is under maintenance .There are PGs in Harohalli , Jakkasandra , Jain College Nearby , Rooms which costs you on an avaerage upto 95k including accomodation and food.

I had applied for top tier like RV and also middle tier like DSCE ,BMSCE and also low tier like CMRIT but I couldn't get into due to my KCET rank but in the first round I got Confirm admission request from MVJ and also Cambridge but I pushed my luck to 3rd round and I opted for Dayananda Sagar University .I chose this college because of the brand name it had established from such a long time and also taking campus placements in consideration and later the infrastructure also impressed me alot .I was rejected from colleges like SJBIT , CMRIT for courses for CSE , IS ,AI but other courses I could have got in and the reason was my rank couldn't reach the cuttoff for the following colleges.I should had studied more in my plus 2. The admission process is very simple in the college as you have to get all the documents they mention and submit it enrolling yourself to the college database and pay your tution fees and it's done . Eligiblity for admission in the college is you should pass your plus 2 and the exams that you can undergo to get into the collge could be KCET , D(dayananda sagar)CET , COMEDK. The most preffered by students is KCET as it makes up to your affordable tution fees. cutoffs lie between 9k to 30k for B.tech in CSE and goes down for other courses like for CST it might differ between 15k to 35k and so on. In most cases admission is one of the worst headaches while getting into educational institutions but in that case Dayanada Sagar Institutions does a good job by reducing complexities and if you can't come your parents or representatives also can come and continue with the proceure.

The student to faculty ratio is arround 60 is to 1 .Talking abot relationship ,they are pretty good and freindly with studends and are easily approchable .Infact they give there cabin number for us to go if there are any problems or doubts about the subjects .The faculty I liked the most is "Dr.Rakesh Kumar" who is a faculty in maths department ,he is a very supportive faculty who pushes us in every aspects and not just studies and he is a very jovial but responsible person.Coming to the faculty I don't like ,her name is "Ms.ARPITA PARIA" ,it's not that she is a bad teacher but knowledge in english is pretty bad and being a north indian conveying the topic to the local sutdents who are majority south indians is pretty hard and also she is very obsessed with students pleading her for marks and there are times where she took it personally. About the examinations ,there are two internals before End Semester exams that happen at every month ends mostly and marking schemes are pretty strict as in you won't recieve marks for steps or the procedure in most of the case as I wouldn't say it for every subject but it depends on the teacher who corrects the papper . And there will be max 5 to 6 exams depending on the semester course curicullum . The course curicullum includes skill enhancement courses and liberal studies and rest from VTU . Passing is averagle easy but scoring is tough. Depending on the subject difficulty and on an average maybe 6 to 7 of them fail in a class. Course curicullum includes subjects like logic building , maths , computers and electronics and comunication ,so its closely relative and helpful too.

There is gym in the hostel and there are 3 Cafetaria which are open till 9:30 pm and library closes at 7pm and public areas for boys are open till 10pm and girls they should back to there respective hostels before 9pm. The Lakeside near the lawn is just amazing and is like a place for artists to get creative and can hangout all day and there is cricket ground which is also beatiful in morning when tender sunlight hit the ground , and the place near Tummy Trails is also ausome to sit with peers and release all the pressure and there are many more aesthetics places arround the campus . The campus is mostly safe everywhere as there is hospital and its busy during nights too ,so there are people arround you always so I it's 24x7 Safe environment.
