All about MNNIT

The curriculum is very relevant with the current industry demands . It prepares you for entry in industry ( i.e. interviews etc) as well as for working in the industry . The curriculum also includes extra academic activities where one has to participate in some thing or other . Overall the course is very engaging

We have internships in 3rd year where many companies like Google , Microsoft , Oracle hire with both type paid and unpaid . Many hire with stipend of over 1 lakh per month as well , while some give around 50000. In 4th year also we have half of the year based on internships pr projects only.

Students become eligible for placements in 3rd year itself ( i.e. some companis give pre placement offer PPO ) to certain set of students who have good academics and skills while many get placed in final year as well. For on campus placement ,many companies like Oracle , Microsoft , Google visit our campusm

For General (with family income > 5 lakh) : ? 200000 per annum For General ( with family income between 1 lakh and 5 lakhs) : around ?100000 For General ( family income < ? 1 lakh) and SC/ST/Pwd : Around ?60000

There are many annual fests held in our college : 1. Cultural fest : Our annual cultural fest Culrav takes place every year during month of November or March. It's a week long fest wherein we host many artists like standup comedians , DJs , etc. it's a very nice fest. 2. Tech fest : Aviskar the annual tech fest happens along with culrav in that 1 week. Further there are many tech fests which are held round the year Plenty of books are available in the library , just the reading time is not 24*7 as in many other colleges , it's from 9 am to 10 pm. There are also clubs where one can join to upskill oneself and also to rejuvenate, like the computer coding club , the Robotics club , etc. also we have various committees for extra activities like dancing , singing , etc.

Boys are provided a 3/4 sharing room in the 1st year and 2 sharing in 2nd year while single room from 3rd year onwards. The mess food is good , they provide breakfast , lunch , evening snacks and dinner . You have to fill a hostel form and fees of 25000(mess) + 12000(hostel) per semester. Hostel is inside campus and academic building is nearby. Overall it's good

This college was my first priority , I applied to no other colleges . To get admission in this college one has to qualify the JEE Main examination and then apply for admission in JoSAA counselling . JoSAA counselling is done in 5 rounds and after that one can apply for CSAB counselling which is done for left over seats after Josaa counselling.

Faculty members are highly qualified and understanding , many of them make us understand a topic very nicely while some just read the lines given in some notes or book. 2 types of exams are conducted: 1. Theory exam : includes a) mid sem b) end sem exam 2. Practical exam The theory is usually of 60 marks and practical of 40 marks Out of the 60 of theory : 20 for mid sem and 40 for end sem. The level of exam is quite good but questions are many times asked from the class notes itself.

There is a gym for boys and a seperate gym for girls equipped with many equipments. It's closing time is 9 pm. Boys hostel in time is flexible but girls hostel in time is 10 pm . There are various cafeterias and canteens where one can hangout with his/her friends . Locality is good and market is nearby at walking distance.
