Good enough to know about college

The course curriculum is not so Good we are got some unnecessary subjects in our college like Environment studies, Development of Society, Universal Human values.Also they teach us several coding languages not stuck to one there is no chance of students to continue one or two languages they like we have to study all the languages they teach. There is also a concept of mass supply which is cause of university.

The college provide us the most of the internships in the startup of their own college and the startup of college provide us very low stipends. As I worked as a Social media manager in the college Startup named make 360 and I get stipend of 500 for working one month and every day I have 4 hours.

The college doesn't provide us equal placement opportunities as they force all the students to take the placement for the development roles and if any student want placement for other job role they need to try off campus as the faculties motive is to go for out campus placement for the specific job roles.The teachers force us to do the development so that college show 100% placement. This is the worst thing in our college.The criterias for placements are that student must have good score in academics having good score in AMCAT and the criteria for the 80% above attendance for sitting in college placements.

The college doesn't provide us the scholarship but the scholarship through the Punjab Technical University.The college provide the scholarship to those students who only came into college through the counselling of IK Gujral Punjab technical University.The college forces the students to play small amount of fees like 10-50 rupees for clearing all the dues so that we can give our exam.

The campus life is soo good we got enough chance to explore the campus as a hosteler.The campus size is around 45-60 acres.There are specific area for the cafeteria in the campus.There are two central canteen and lot of greenery in the campus a for sports and a seperate ground for athletics and the ground for athletics is used for organizing fests.There are good cafeteria for the luxury items or luxury coffees and snacks place that are too expensive for the middle class people.We are not allowed to visit campus as hosteler after 11Pm.This timing for girls is 7:30Pm

The hostel facility is not so good. We have to pay for the fine on little things. We have to pay hostels electricity bill seperately. Sometimes water is not available in hostel. The mess food is not so good. Sometimes we get animals or plastic in our mess food. The hostel provide us non veg twice a month and eggs every month.

I didn't choose this college my parents forced me to take admission in this college as this college is from the my cousins studied and This college is within 100km of my home town and the atmosphere is college is Good as there is very less drug culture in our college as compared to other colleges of Punjab.

The faculties are okay some faculties are good who like their passion of teaching on the other hand some teachers are technically capable but their teaching methods are not hodd enough to teach the students. The biased ness of teachers is also a very big concern.

There is a small market around or college which is mostly full of necessary stores like grocery store restaurant street vendors. Some of them are opened 24×7 but mostly are operating till 11 in the night. As the nightlife of place around college like Chandigarh is not good.
