Course Curriculum Overview

4

As I was not getting computer science in any other college and by giving conedk exam I got cse here so I decided to get this college. The car course prepares you well but you have to give your own efforts for this. The course need to provide real study material more of coding and all . The exam take 3 times in a semester.

Placement Experience

4

The placement of my college is average and they bring companies in a decent number.the average package is around 5-6 lakh. For campus placement you become eligible from 7th sem. Lot of companies visit out of which the top one are infosys 50-60% of students got placed. My plan is to get job after getting the degree

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying yearly fees of around 287000 out of which the tution fees is 2,30,000 and lab fees is 30,000 and vtu registration fees is 27,000. Fir management quota fees is around 7,00,000 and for kcet the fees is 1,15,000. The scholarship is there but it is only for people of Karnataka.

Campus Life

4

My overall experience is good as the college surrounding is very good and I am a part of 2 clubs. Every year an event happen in around December. Library is very big and you can get a lot of varieties of books. Sports playgrounds are there and there are separate clubs for that. Yes there are lot of instagram handle of our college out of which few are run by the students and few are run by the college itself.

Admission

I chose this college because this college come under top 5 in Bangalore and is one of the best private engineering colleges in India.I couldnot make it to other college because I am a general and here the admission was based on a simple exam without any discrimination. There are three process of admission:- 1:- Conedk Exam 2:-Kect exam 3:-Management quota I applied to many college and got call from there firstly I got all india rank of 751 in kiit , I also cleared the wbjee exam with Air 1900, also got call from AIT pune. But I chose this college because fees was lower here and the city is Bangalore. I applied for jee and failed there Admission process for my college is conedk, kcet and management quota. Cutoff for cse in conedk is around 10k rank and in kcet it is about 2k rank.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 for every class there is one single class teacher. Out of all the professor chinni krishna is the best. But now he has left the college and is teaching in some other college. There are three internals and the internal marks go to vtu by taking the average of two internal. Internal marks reduced to 50 and external marks also reduced to 50 and they both combine to become overall 100.

Interview Experience

4

No there was not any group discussion for the admission as the exam was online and you just have to clear the exam and you can get admission in this college. Not only in this college but in all vtu affiliated colleges you can get the admission based on your merit

Night Life

4

The nighlife in the college is good only if you are outside the college as the college gate for hostlites close at 8:00 pm and you can't get out. There is a gym in the college but is very big and is always get occupied by some club members. Famous hangout place in the college is the gallery.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
