No negative remarks. I am rwally enjoying This 4years of college. Overall its a great experience. The college is also located in a very well place. Moreover placement is good laboratories are well equipped extracurriculae activities is also available. Faculties are humble and helpful.College infrastructure is nice with large playground basketball ground. And many other facilities. Overall its a great college to enjoy this 4years of life.

Haldia Institute of Technology consists of various curriculum. There are total of 11-12 branches for which B.Tech courses are offered. rather than BBA & MBA is also done.Out of all the engineering courses chemical engineering , computer science engineering , and Food technology students has 100% placement.

No our college doesn't provide internships. But they provide training to students from 2nd year who are eligible.But our college arramges seminar and workshops foe every student. Scholarships are also arranged by college.

Job opportunities is very high. Placement in branches such as food technology ,chemical engineering has 100% placement.various well established companies comes for recruitment. In food technology branch last year highest package was of Rs.11.4lacs And lowest package of Rs.4.8lacs with an average package of Rs6.7lacs per annum. But overall placement mainly in core branches is not much effective.

Basically altime events are celebrated here Republic Day Sports day Saraswati puja Extravaganza event PRAYUKTI Event Spring Fest Riviera college fest Vishwakarma puja. Diwali These are few of the events or fesrivals which are celebrated with a bash in our college.

Fee structure is not much expensive when comapared with facilities provided. Total tuition fees to be paid for 4years is just Rs.3,50,000, Hostel fees is Rs.12,000 without food. First semester fee is Rs. 62000 and all other 7 semester fee ranges from 40000-45000.

College offers scholarships to the students who scores more than 8.99CGPA in all the years. If he or she is able to bring the required CGPA then one semester fee is paid by the college. that is college pays 40000 approx to the student. But no loan facility is offered by the college.

Various events are organised by various bodies of college and students are able to take part in this extracurricular activities as well. During odd semester football tournament is arranged by the college and in even semester cricket and basketball tournament is arranged. Laboratories are well equipped and spacy.

7 Out of 10 I will rate the hostel infrastructure including the food served. All students are provided with respective bed,shelves ,table,chair But the food which is supplied in meals is not of good quality or taste.But rooms are spacy each room is accomodated for 3-4 students respective of their years.

Here is both type of senior students.Ones who are very much helpful and ones who are busy giving you trouble. Though I have met the first ones in large no. Most of them are helpful. Later on juniors will find that in first interaction though if its not good later on they will help them a lot. By guiding them whenever they need by providing books if the seniors have. And by many other ways. Senior and junior shares a great bond.

During 4years. of course. Each yeae has 2semester exams. Total of 8semester exams in 4years. There is total of 6 theory subjects and 4 practical subjects. Each semester each theory subject exam structure is. 2 class tests 1 quiz 1 powerpoint 1 project Assignments Viva 1 Theory written exam or semester exam of 70 marks

By JEE MAINS rank. I got admission in this college. By appearing in JEE MAIN or WBJEE one can take admission or by management quota. After knowing that in HIT I will be able to do this course I took my JEE MAIN result and class 10 12 result and went for it and that was all I had to do to take admission in HIT.

Faculty is very polite and humble. They offer doubt clearing classes for students everyday. They don't get irritated with students. Teaching style is very different and very much effective for students.Students and teacher relationship is really good.
