Course Curriculum Overview

2

I chose Computer science and maths course which is nowadays very popular and demand in IT sector which we can learn new things and gives jobs for everyone But the course in college teaches in theoretical only . To improve the course, the college must teach students practically more than theoretical way,so then we can get job easily. University puts time table very soon the still the syllabus is not completed,so the students get difficult to pass the exam

Fees and Financial Aid

In Tumkur university the college fees structure varies yearly .In first year degree the fee is around 3500 rs for bsc and the fees is different for other courses like BA,BCA,B com In the next year the fee is increased and in the last year also increased upto 4000 Rs. Same fees for all category. There is a scholarship named SSP for students it is government based scholarship which the money varies yearly .some time scholarship money comes and the next time doesn't come ,if it is come it is credited very late

Campus Life

2

In my college campuse is very good sitting with friends and talking with each other playing games are good for some time There is only one annual festival ie send off party . There is library which we can access weekly one day. There is only one projector in class There is no large field for sports There is student portal clubs social groups

Admission

I chose this college because the fee is low and near to me.where I am from poor family. I applied to Bsc agriculture in Bangalore college and I didn't confirmed by college I choose this college because I was financially weak. Yes I rejected form bsc agriculture in Bangalore because my rank is cet exam is low And financial problems. My college admission process is manual.where who passed the second pu can join the college easily there is no exam to Join the course

Faculty

2

For me Maths faculty is very too good everyone in there teach very nicely, they approach every student and take care about their education.I like ranganath sir, sindhu mam, Ramesh sir and Sowmya mam. In Computer science faculty some teacher are good and other are lazy ,they just come and do there job and go.they even not teaching in interesting, they don't care about students only few teachers care and teach in this cs faculty In Our university there is sem wise Exam in there are two sem means two exams In some exam is very easy and some exam is difficult because is teaching is low quality,in exam centre they make students to copy so everyone is easily pass

Night Life

3

In college campus we really enjoyed every moment it was very memorable with friends There is gym but is closed,no cafeteria, library is there it is closed on 3:00pm And college closed at 5:00pm The college time starts at 9:00 am to 5:00 pm There is no famous places but the locality is very safe

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
