Course Curriculum Overview

3

I had great interest in history and arts and this college provided me with great faculty in the subjects I liked The curriculum prepares me for the competition we have to face in the real world I think exams should be taken more times an year which will make us more accurate in our studies Exams were taken twice an year and three hours were given to complete each exam paper

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees was 10000 approx in 1st year and around 8000 in 2nd year which further ruduced to 7100 in 3rd year. The tuition fees in 1st year was approximately 720 and other charges were around 9280 The government provided scholarships to backward class students which was approx 5000 per year My classmates Rohit and Sachin belonged to SC category who used to get 5000 scholarship per year There was also merit cum need scholarships provided to scholars that was approx 3000.

Campus Life

4

Annual festival takes place every year talent hunt programs are also conducted every year The library was well built and had all the books of our course and students could issue the books any time they want to Classrooms are well built with good benches and digital boards Sports events takes place every year like for volleyball and handball Students used to run social media like YouTube where they uploaded college related clips

Admission

I didn't apply for any other college because this college is in my locality and I wanted to join as a day scholar so it was the best option for me I didn't get any rejection from any college The admissions are through councelling according to marks obtained in 12th class the cutoff is approximately 70% Now CUET rankings are also accepted for admissions

Faculty

4

The faculty to students ratio was approximately 1:30 and the faculty to student relationship was also nice faculty members could be approached anytime during the college hours I liked Mr.Surender Sir who taught us history he was too punctual that impressed me a lot There was no such faculty whom I disliked Tests were like twice a month and exams were semester wise like twice an year

Night Life

4

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum was highly relavant to my academic and career interest which offers a strong balance between the theroatical concepts and real life implications. one of the key factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was that there are wide varity of subjects available to choose from which allowed to talor my learning according to my interest. But the time of exams are tough for us, but the two-month break actually gives us time to soothe the tiredness and actually make us want to come back to campus.

I love the teaching methods as its a great hall with 70+ students sitting semi circle. As it is the pandemic situation, the classes are now online, there would me online classes scheduled every day. I had to have more marks in english in 12 and i had it. There were normal exams evey week, but it was tough enough.
