Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is well designed but some of the aspects are out dated like the theory classes which needs to be reduced anf more should be focused on practicals . Bsc nursing is a good course which provides a good scope in future with a good salary.

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure is very good with new building and air conditioned classes and cool water availability , there also sports day and fests and farewell , overall kgmu college of nursing provides a good experience

Admission

KGMU college of Nursing is the best government college in uttar pradesh for opting Bsc nursing because the practical experience which a students gets here can't get anywhere else , that's why i prefer a student to think of Kgmu

Faculty

4

The Faculty ratio is very good and is increased in 2025 , faculty is very supportive and nice but there are some exceptions also . There are about 2 university exams in each semester. About 10-20 percent students fail in the exams

Night Life

5

The night life of a medical college is around studying, making assignments, and little bit of fun and weekly trips and sometimes nightouts . It's very fun to be part of hostel life, i didn't opt for hostel but i sometime go and spend time there with my friends. It's a fun .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Job opportunities is so high after completion of the course. Curriculum strongly focuses on skill development of the students that will help them to achieve different milestones. There should be less no. of assignment in the curriculum and teaching method should be more interactive. There are 2 mid term exams and 1 semester exam in every 6 months. Exams are not that difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a medical course so yaa i wanted to learn about human so opted for it .It's alike MBBS but a bit easy than that .we have subject specialities like Medical surgical ,Obs gynae,Pediatrics ,Community etc like mbbs only but we need to learn them in duration of 3.5 yrs then we have internship of 6 months. Curriculum is maintained but need to be more realistic as some things are outdated. The subjects we learn are patient centred only as we have to be there for them ,provide care to them and treat them .everthing we read in classes we apply and co relate in our clinical.postings for better learning and experience

Choosing this course was my own decision but after joining it helped me to indulge more in it. It prepares us to face many major and minor critical conditions regarding human beings. Teaching method is usually based on faculty we get. But ours is the best and they examine us in every one month on the basis of some lengthy exams and some shorts exminations.
