MY HBTI JOURNEY

The Lab and associated activities are well exlained in the curriculum. After the 2nd year you will start connecting to the real world. Teaching methods are very good. It can be improved with inculcation of training programmes in the 3rd year.

Around 90 to 95 percent peoples are placed in my batch. Some of them have got two jobs after completion of the 7th semester.TCS, INfosys, Capgemini and Adobe were the companies . Sony erricson also visted at that time.

Year Wise payment : 25000/- as i got scholarship from the college due to my rank. General Tutuion fee is 75000/- and caution money s around 5000/-. Lab fee is 5000/- prer month. SO Per yaer it cost you around 85 to 90k. The fee is variable with respect to years as you go on in 2nd or 3rd year. For SC/ ST the cost is around 41000 including all. Over the past few years, there has been an increase in tution fees. The college atmosphere is awesome. Students with family income less than 2.5L apso get a rebaid in their fee upto 50%. For the management quota the fee for one year can go up to 1.7L per annum.

There were two cultural festivals one was named TAAL and other was ODYSSEY. ODYSSEY was an annual cultural festival in which various colleges were taking part. Apart from it more than 10 tech festials were organised.

The HBTI ranked at 25th when i took the admission in all over India. It is better palced than various NITS. The campus is very big along with better hoste facility. I choose this college over NIT Jaipur which i was getting at that time.

The facilty and student ration is aroud 1:60. At my time Rajni Bisht was the great faculty. she was pioneer in various electronices research paper. There are 8 semeters and each semester have 3 sessional exams. Mostly all the students are able to clear the exams. The course curriculum and the project is given in the final year is very much relevant to the present demand.

Cafeteria is not that much good. You have to go around the campus for the various outdoor activities. In sport it has badmintoon and various other indoor games places. There are more than 4 hostel. 2 are in east campus for boys. and 2 for girls in east campus. Rest 3 are in west ampus for boys only.
