The most important factor is your interest. If you are not interested they don't take the course. Take the course which will amke you more & more hungry to be better every day. Our curriculum is both theory & practical based. All the theoretical & practical based knowledge is given. Till now no improvements is needed but the strictness should be little lighter. I could say after 1 week we are having internals & sadly after the sem is going to be over we are given 10 to 15 days for sitting in the SEM exams. Internals are difficult while the sems are moderate.

There are many internship opportunities available by our university to the students. It varies with the course you have taken & how much you worked on that specific skill to master & later on get a good stipend by any company. As per the senior you need to develop those skills As I am 1st year I can't specifically name any projects.

The placement in our college is really good. For the starters our college provides a good placement & right time of joining etc. Google, microsoft,hindalco, mahindra,suzuki etc visited our campus .. total of 600 companies are registered in which 500 companies came for the placement. 60L is the highest package while 15L is the lowest package. Around 90% of the students gets placed by our university. I just want to get a good package & job after getting the degree.

Hello I am shivesh Chakravarty studying in SRMIST KATTANKULATHUR. I have paid rs. 4.25 lakh yearly fees. 10,000 was the registration fees(1 time). My batch mates with different branches also has the same fees but the core branch has 5L fees. There are many scholarship available like military , caste,navy etc available by the university. 60% is the minimum criteria for entering to the university for doing btech for core or any other branch. Also prepare for the SRMJEE exam & get a good rank to excel in btech CS. Do prepare well maths & physics & some important concepts related to it with the moat important part NUMERICALS. Don't miss it out.

The campus life in our college is really good & crossed my limits of expectations. There are many events & clubs in our university. I am in the DATA SCIENCE club here the main thing is collaboration. While collaborating increase your knowledge & make good connections. There are wide variety of sports & extra curricular activities in our campus. The best is our badminton & basketball court. Here be the best to get the best. Is my main slogan to uplift myself.

For 1 year students the range starts from 1.20L & ends by premium boys hostel - 4L. I live in 4 seater boys with common washroom. The meals in our mess are good but not worthy of eating often from it. We aren't having any AC In our room. You can register your hostel just by signing in to SRM student portal. Also I didn't went too much outside but as per my friends there are many PGS just outside our campus which is stayable.

There are many college I checked & applied. But the best which I liked was SRMIST. I chose this college because it's giving a lot of opportunities to move forward in the life & the curriculum is designed to make you better each day. Nope I didn't got any rejection from any colleges as I like private colleges more than the government colleges. The admission process is a little tricky but understandable. Pass in 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

The factulty to student ratio is good. In the time of need or emergency you can contact to your FA & they will help you to find out your errors. I can't tell specifically the name of the faculty but every faculty is accessible & helpful in the time of need. There are many exams when you will enter in our college. It varies on how you will be ready before the exam i.e. preparation (self preparation). Ya it's the most important. The internals are a little harder as compared to the Semester exam.

For boys after 9pm the hostel gets closed & for girls after 6pm no one is allowed to go outside. special permission is needed for going out after 9pm for boys & for girls after 6pm. Our classes start from 8am & it varies that when our last class will end. As I dint go outside of my hostel so I don't know that much that which hotspot is the best to hangout which is too much far away but ya you can easily hangout in jawa which is the in campus hangout spot but closes at 7pm I feel like night life at any colleges isn't safe. The library here is totally accessible to the students. Also e library is there to fulfill any needs higher than the library.
