Living the IIT Llife

As I mentioned earlier our course structure is good and also offers some good courses and some courses which are appart from our academics and are based on real life scenarios like communication skills, Understanding human behaviour etc.

Many big companies like google, facebook, twitter , wipro etc. provide a very good internship opportunities for students. Some of our college clubs mainly focus on project development both in technical or any other raspect.

Our college offers very good placements and also some good amount of packages to students. There are other opportunities also like entrepreneurship. If anybody has an innovative idea about starting a startup then our college pays funds to the individual as well as experts in his field guides him for future.

100000 INR is taken as tution fees per semester. Yearly our college takes 200000 INR as tution fees. 18000 INR is taken as mess/hostel fees per semester. Yearly 36000 INR is taken as mess fees. And the rest fees vomed under other fees which include sports fees, health care fees etc. For SC/ST 100% tution fees wavier is given to them and for general and OBC fee wavier is given according to the annual family income of the particular student.

Our campus life is going good. Our seniors call us for regular meets and interact with us. They also solve our doubts both academic and sometimes personal. There are clubs almost for every field for which a club should be. Seniors also comes to class for inductions and recruitment also takes place for clubs in which seniors help us and the guidance from seniors plays a key role in recruitment process.

In our first year's hostel room there is a cupboard, 2 beds 1 study table and two chairs. But the rooms are quite small for first year's but for second year the rooms are almost double to the size of first year.

Firstly I applied for this college as it has IIT tag which is the most proknowned institute of India. And also I was getting a very good branch which is Electronics and communication engineering in my rank range in JEE advanced.

Some faculties are really good and there nature is also good enough which makes us taking interests in the subject. The courses offered are good but the schedule is very hectic but we get holidays on Saturday and Sunday which makes our lives little bit better.

Mine and my friend's favourite hangout spot is RD tea stall and sometimes the whole campus and especially heritage building and grounds. There is also a very good gym facility for students and students can also go outside the campus but they should enter the main gate before 10 pm and the hostel gate before 12 am in night. Our library one of the biggest technical libraries of the asia and there are 3-4 cafetarias.
