Course Curriculum Overview

As I mentioned earlier our course structure is good and also offers some good courses and some courses which are appart from our academics and are based on real life scenarios like communication skills, Understanding human behaviour etc.

Class Size: 126Course Fees: INR 290000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many big companies like google, facebook, twitter , wipro etc. provide a very good internship opportunities for students. Some of our college clubs mainly focus on project development both in technical or any other raspect.

Placement Experience

Our college offers very good placements and also some good amount of packages to students. There are other opportunities also like entrepreneurship. If anybody has an innovative idea about starting a startup then our college pays funds to the individual as well as experts in his field guides him for future.

Fees and Financial Aid

100000 INR is taken as tution fees per semester. Yearly our college takes 200000 INR as tution fees. 18000 INR is taken as mess/hostel fees per semester. Yearly 36000 INR is taken as mess fees. And the rest fees vomed under other fees which include sports fees, health care fees etc. For SC/ST 100% tution fees wavier is given to them and for general and OBC fee wavier is given according to the annual family income of the particular student.

Campus Life

Our campus life is going good. Our seniors call us for regular meets and interact with us. They also solve our doubts both academic and sometimes personal. There are clubs almost for every field for which a club should be. Seniors also comes to class for inductions and recruitment also takes place for clubs in which seniors help us and the guidance from seniors plays a key role in recruitment process.

Hostel Facilities

In our first year's hostel room there is a cupboard, 2 beds 1 study table and two chairs. But the rooms are quite small for first year's but for second year the rooms are almost double to the size of first year.

Hostel Fee: INR 36000 per year

Admission

Firstly I applied for this college as it has IIT tag which is the most proknowned institute of India. And also I was getting a very good branch which is Electronics and communication engineering in my rank range in JEE advanced.

Faculty

Some faculties are really good and there nature is also good enough which makes us taking interests in the subject. The courses offered are good but the schedule is very hectic but we get holidays on Saturday and Sunday which makes our lives little bit better.

Night Life

Mine and my friend's favourite hangout spot is RD tea stall and sometimes the whole campus and especially heritage building and grounds. There is also a very good gym facility for students and students can also go outside the campus but they should enter the main gate before 10 pm and the hostel gate before 12 am in night. Our library one of the biggest technical libraries of the asia and there are 3-4 cafetarias.

BIT Sindri, A life one can imagine of.

Placement Experience:

Our college offers almost 100 percent placement with average package of 7-9 lakhs. If someone does not gets placed during in campus placement session, then they have to apply for their respective companies off campus. In this time out settled alumnis will help them. The core branches get a lot of placements around 100% while the technical branches suffer in placements they are not a lot of companies that visit a college from technical branches but for branches there a lot of companies like Vedanta Tata Steel Jindal power etc.

After 7th semester, students become eligible for the placement. Placement is average here . Highest package is approx 56 lakhs on campus and 1 cr offcampus. Various big tech companies like Google, microsoft, phonepe,flipkart,etc visit here and core companies also visit here like ONGC, CIL.etc.

Placement Experience:

The placement session are very good here , many companies come and take students in bulk. They get several job roles. The average package offered in my branch is 30 LPA, the maximum was 84 LPA. The top recruiters are Amazon , Google , Microsoft, Accenture and Texas Instruments.

My college is heaven

Placement Experience:

The student with cg more than 8 gets eligible for package and companies come and give them package . Cs and mnc has approx 100 percent of placement but also some lower branch are having less ratio of placements.

Review of IIT ISM DHANBAD

Placement Experience:

Overall campus placement for IIT ISM Dhanbad is decent . Highest package till now is 1.2 cr and lowest package is 6 lpa . This year also since phase 1 of placement season completed almost 600+ students got placed with highest domestic package is 66 lakh . 80-90% students got placed in this college. If your cgpa is above 7 chances of getting placed is very high. So maintaining good cgpa is very necessary. Placement season start from oct end of 7 th sem and phase 1 of placement completes in 20-25 dec . After that phase 2 of placement starts from 4-5 january onwards . Highest package offer on day 1,2 of placement season. Since I got placed in Bharat petroleum corporation limited (BPCL) my plan is to join BPCl and then go on higher post in same company.

Real and honest facts about BIT SINDRI

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario of our college is really good specially for core branches .we get good packages from 8 to 14 lakh in companies like Tata Steel Jindal and jsw .The criteria for getting jobs are that you should not have any active back in any subject. The placement starts from 7th semester. Around 80% students gets placed.

BIT MESRA- A Myth or Legend

Placement Experience:

Students Become eligible after the 6th sem for campus placements. There are may companies that visit our campus including Microsoft, Google, Apple, Amazon, Walmart, Salesforce, Deloitte, etc Highest Package is 50LPA (Microsoft) which is on campus and off campus is 1 Crore PA from Atlassian. Avg package is 15 LPA. Approx 90% cse students get placed and among other students the ratio falls to 70%. My plan is to work in a big MNC and make my parents proud

Review of IIT ISM DHANBAD

Firstly my dream is to go to IIT college because of its good placement and very big and beautiful campuses with all facilities. Secondly since my rank is 9k in jee advance . My first priority is circuital branch in first generation IIT so I prefer IIT ism Dhanbad electrical over computer science branch in second or third generation IIT . Secondly since I love physics I want to pursue that type of courses where logically thinking involved. Admission process is easy there is one portal name as jossa where you have registered yourself and then you need to fill the priority of college and branch according to your priority and rank you got college there will be 6 round in that if you don't got good college in first round go for further chances will be high you got good colleges. My suggestion is to consider both branch and college during filling the priority of your college selection since it will impact further during placements. For admission in IITs you must need to clear jee mains and advanced and atleast 75% marks in 12th board exam ....Read More

I got into this college by JOAPS counselling, My IIT JAM MA rank was AIR-539 (EWS Category). I chose this college because of my branch (Mathematics and Computing) and it was my choice according to my rank. So I was happy about the college I got into. For M.sc Admission IITs conduct the IIT JAM exam and by JOAPS counseling you can be admitted into this college. The eligibility criteria is 55% in your graduation for all IITs.
